❇️🌿A Celebration of Culture and Dance at the RSTW 2026 Fellowship Night 💫

The Hiwas Dance Troupe of Romblon State University captivated and entertained the audience with their vibrant performance of "Inagta" during the Regional Science and Technology Week- Fellowship Night on August 17, 2026 at the University Quadrangle.

Drawing inspirations from the traditions, movements, and way of life of the Agta people, "Inagta" is a dynamic cultural piece that highlights indigenous heritage, community, resilience, and Filipino artistry. Through expressive movements, the rhythmic patterns, and energetic choreography, the dancers brought the richness of cultural tradition to life on stage.

The audience was thoroughly entertained by the dancer's energy, precision, and passion, making the fellowship night even more vibrant and memorable. Their performance was trained and guided by Mr. Rodnie Manzala, whose dedication and expertise helped bring this remarkable presentation to the stage.👏

The Yagting Kanugkog Chorale of Romblon State University performed during the opening of the 2026 MIMAROPA Regional Science and Technology Week on August 17, 2026 at La Marietta Events Place.

Their powerful voices and inspiring harmony added warmth and excitement to the celebration, setting the perfect tone for a week dedicated to science, technology, innovation, and excellence.🎶

🎶A Night to Remember🎶🎙️

Our very own Johana Doraine T. Firmalo and Keira Angel De G***r left the entire auditorium breathless with their stunning and deeply emotional rendition of Freddie Aguilar's timeless OPM classic "Anak" during the 2026 MIMAROPA-Regional Science and Technology Week, Fellowship Night on August 17, 2026, at the University Quadrangle.

The masterpiece "Anak" speaks volumes about the sacred bond between a parent and a child- reminding us of the struggles, the forgiveness, and the unconditional love that always welcomes us home. Johana and Keira didn't just sing the notes; they poured their hearts into every single lyric, turning the performance into a profound emotional experience for everyone in attendance.

As the final chord faded, the room erupted into cheers, with the audience rising to their feet for a well-deserved standing ovation.

Thank you Johana and Keira for sharing your incredible talent and making us all so proud. Moments like this, reminds us of the beauty of our local artistry and culture🎤💫
