We like to believe “starting” has a clear entry point — a defined path, a sequence you can follow.

But for anything creative or ambitious, that path doesn’t really exist. There’s no roadmap that says: Do this, then this, now you’ve started. What you get instead is ambiguity.

You spend a lot of time alone, doing something that doesn’t yet look like a career. You’re not sure if it’s leading anywhere. People around you wonder if you should be doing something more “real.”

That’s where most people get stuck. Not because they lack ability or motivation — but because they don’t know if what they’re doing counts.

The European Union introduced phased smartphone rules from June 2025 to February 2027, focusing on durability, repairability, and longer device lifespans.

From February 2027, smartphones must allow users to replace batteries themselves using basic tools without relying on service centers.

The rules require slower-degrading batteries, availability of spare parts for 10 years, and no restrictions on independent repairs or access to repair manuals.

Batteries must retain at least 80% capacity after 800 charge cycles, while key components must be supplied within 5–10 working days.

Though an EU policy, global impact is likely, as brands standardize devices across markets, as seen when Apple adopted USB-C with the iPhone 15.
