This tutorial video is the first official topic that is included in the syllabus for CBLE 2021.

The first topic in the syllabus is about Computation of Dutiable Value followed by INCOTERMS 2020.

INCOTERMS 2020 guides the buyer and seller in their international transactions. Where they will come up with an agreement resulting to the importation and exportation of the goods.

With that said, INCOTERMS 2020 is one of the roots of all the computations of duties, taxes and other charges in Subject No. 4.

That is why, we prefer to study the concept of International Commercial Terms first before we grab our calculators!

Uunahin munang i-tackle ang #2 kasi dapat malaman muna yung INCOTERMS kung paano nga ba yung International transactions with seller abroad?

Pag-aralan muna ang concept bago tayo mag derive/operate mag solve gamit ang formula. :)

Sa paglayag ng mga barko, hindi maiiwasan ang "force majeure" o Act of God. Ito yung natural disasters (i.e.earthquake, storms and etc.)

Kaya naman, ang pagkuha ng mga sukat ng containers ay isa din sa concern pagdating sa seguridad ng mga ito.

Upang maibsan ang mga sakuna tulad ng pagkasira o pagbagsak ng mga containers mula sa ship.

TEU/FEU, ito ang capacity unit ng containers na kinukuha upang mas madaling mapagplanuhan kung paano ito pagpapatong-patungin sa ship.

TEU/FEU was born to standardized the different sizes of containers.Thanks to the works of International Organization for Standardization or ISO!

In addition to the tips we gave from the post "How to Deal with CONVERSIONS & FORMULAS"

5. Use a calculator allowed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
-ngayon palang bumili kana kahit student kapalang bili kana para masanay kanang mabilisang pag pindot sa calcu. 👆 NO TO SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR!

6. Practice solving worded problems.
- para masanay ka na ng mabilisang pag analyze ng mga problems. Para pag nag solve kana kaya mo ng i-formulate agad nang walang sulat sulat sa scratch paper, odiba kahit basahin mo lang yung problem pumipindot ka na agad sa calcu.

Good day Future Customs Brokers! ⚓

We, the Customs Broker Licensure Exam Review, are providing additional knowledge specifically in Practical Computation (as for now) for FREE!

This post is about..

"How to Deal with Conversions & Formulas 2021":

1. You need to memorize the CONVERSION first.
- this is the most basic yet most important. Pag hindi mo 'to memorize 'di mo din masasagutan yung ibang problem na kailangan mo muna i-convert bago ka mag proceed sa solution.

2. We suggest to write the CONVERSION & FORMULAS on a Manila paper/Cartolina and post it on your walls.
- this method is optional yet the best way to memorize. Legit! kapag araw-araw mo nakikita 'tong CONVERSION & FORMULAS masasanay kana. Pagdating ng exam maalala mo nalang 'to through Photographic memory.

3. As we always say learners should write their own reviewer.
- Pero this time ilagay mo sa formula card para kahit saan accessible yung mga kailangan mo kapag nagsasagot ka ng problems.

We suggest din na dapat lagi mo tong dala kapag mag rereview ka para kapag may nakita ka or may binigay na bagong formula idagdag mo nalang dyan sa ginawa mong card. Upang maiwasan din yung mahilo ka kakahanap kung saang papel mo nilagay yung formula nayon.

4. Last but not the least, rewrite the CONVERSIONS everyday.
- this is is optional pero kung desidido kang makapasa sa Computation. Kering-keri mo'to.
