Please, letā€™s stop the blame.

Two women lost their lives, and the guy survived.
He could be carrying a level of guilt thatā€™s hard to even imagine. He might feel like he shouldā€™ve gone with them. Or maybe heā€™s struggling with thoughts no one should ever have. Trauma like that doesnā€™tw go away easily and honestly, it might stay with him forever.

What if it was the other way around, if the two girls had survived and he hadnā€™t? Would they be getting the same hate heā€™s getting now? I hope not.

So maybe instead of blaming, we justā€¦ pause. Say a prayer, for the two girls, for their families, and for the driver too. For peace. For healing. For strength to carry a weight none of us can understand.

Theyā€™ve rested in peace, but he will suffer forever.
