The greatest sermon people may ever hear is the kindness and love they see in you.

emotional intelligence will always be my standard. i value people who can genuinely listen, understand, and make me feel seen, and respond with empathy, not those who give cold and late replies or dismiss my feelings. i crave real connections built on understanding and respect, where i don’t have to beg for attention and validation.

If ganito ang nararanasan ninyo, huwag kayong mahihiyang mag-message sa page na 'to. Naririnig ko at nararamdaman ko kung saan kayo nanggagaling! ❤️

Returning to Our First Commitment: Fulfilling Our Responsibilities to the Church

As Christians, we are called to serve God and His church with devotion. When we committed our lives to Christ, we also made a vow to be faithful in our responsibilities whether in ministry, worship, or supporting the body of believers. However, in today’s fast-paced world, many of us find ourselves distracted by work, personal ambitions, and countless responsibilities. While these things may be important, they should never take the place of our commitment to God.

It’s easy to become so busy that we unintentionally neglect our duties in the church. We tell ourselves, “I’ll serve when I have more time,” or “God understands my situation.” While God is indeed understanding and full of grace, He also desires our obedience and faithfulness. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” This verse teaches us that when we put God first, He will take care of everything else.

If you have found yourself drifting away from your church responsibilities, let this be a loving reminder to return. Serving God is not a burden; it is a privilege. The joy and fulfillment that come from obeying Him far outweigh any temporary satisfaction we gain from worldly pursuits. Our talents, time, and efforts should be used for His glory.

Take a moment to reflect: What is keeping you from fulfilling your vow to serve? Is it time to realign your priorities? God is always ready to welcome you back with open arms. Let us rise up, refocus, and commit ourselves once again to the work of the Lord.

Have a blessed day!

Have a blessed day!

Life as a servant of God is not always easy. There are times when we feel tired, discouraged, or even tempted to walk away from our calling. Challenges, criticisms, and personal struggles can make us question if we are strong enough to continue. But before making the decision to quit, remember this: God never called us to a journey without also giving us the strength to complete it.

When Jesus called His disciples, He never promised a comfortable life. Instead, He said, “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Serving God is not about seeking comfort but about trusting Him through the trials. If you feel like giving up, it may not be a sign to quit, but a sign to lean on Him more.

Think about the reasons why you started. Remember the moments when you felt His presence, the lives you have touched, and the blessings He has given you. The enemy wants you to believe that your efforts are in vain, but God sees every sacrifice, every prayer, and every act of love.

If you are struggling, take time to rest, pray, and seek God’s guidance. You are not alone. Many great men and women of faith have felt like quitting, but they endured and God used them powerfully. Your journey is not over. God is not finished with you yet.

Stay strong, keep the faith, and remember: serving God is never in vain. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58).
