The transformation of the traditional perception of the school Guidance Office into a more learner-centered and supportive CARE CENTER.

Through a humorous yet meaningful comparison of the past and present the images emphasizes the evolving role of school-based guidance and counseling services in promoting mental health, well-being, and positive student development.

The message “More CARE, Less SCARE” symbolizes the shift from a culture of fear to a culture of compassion. It highlights that the CARE CENTER is a place where learners are valued, heard, respected, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and mentally.

The acronym CARE further reinforces the center's core values:

C – Connect: Building meaningful relationships and ensuring every learner feels heard.
A – Accept: Creating an inclusive environment where students feel welcomed and understood.
R – Respect: Honoring the dignity, individuality, and experiences of every learner.
E – Empower: Equipping students with the skills, confidence, and support needed to overcome challenges and achieve success.

In RA 12080 we must encourages students, parents, and school personnel to view the CARE CENTER not as a place of punishment, but as a trusted partner in every learner’s journey toward resilience, growth, and success.

Before the opening of classes, we kindly remind everyone that 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.

We understand that you only want to check on your child, especially during the first days of school. However, when children see their parents outside the room or through the window, they may become more emotional, clingy, or distracted.

𝗠𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘆, 𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘆, 𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗮, 𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀.

Crying during the first few days is normal. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀. Please do not worry too much. In most cases, children eventually calm down once they feel safe, comfortable, and familiar with their teacher and classmates.

After bringing your child to school, we encourage you to go home or attend to your errands. Rest assured that while your child is inside the classroom, we will do our best to guide, care for, and treat them with love.

📌 Bakit hindi dapat magturo agad sa June 8?

Hindi ito delay—disenyo ito ng DepEd. 👀

Sa bagong three-term calendar, may tinatawag na Opening Block—ito ang unang hakbang bago ang actual teaching. Hindi muna heavy lessons, kundi paghahanda.

✨ Ano ang ginagawa dito?
• Kilalanin ang mga estudyante (learner profiling)
• Alamin ang kanilang level (diagnostic assessment)
• I-set ang rules at routines sa classroom
• Ayusin ang records at school requirements
• Ihanda ang lahat para sa smooth na klase

💡 Bakit mahalaga?
Kapag maayos ang simula, mas tuloy-tuloy ang pagtuturo.
Mas naiintindihan ng g**o ang mga estudyante.
Mas handa ang lahat pagdating ng Instructional Block.

Ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng cellphone at iba pang portable electronic devices (gaya ng tablets at gadgets) ng mga estudyante at maging ng mga g**o o kawani habang may klase.

👉 Bakit ito ipinagbabawal?
Para maiwasan ang distraksyon
Para mapanatili ang maayos at seryosong kapaligiran sa pag-aaral
👉 May mga eksepsyon (pinapayagan sa ilang sitwasyon):
Para sa pag-aaral (Academic purposes)
Paggamit ng gadgets kung kailangan sa lesson
Halimbawa: research, online activities, educational apps
Sa oras ng emergency
Halimbawa: sakuna, may sakit, o agarang pangangailangan sa komunikasyon
👉 Parusa kapag lumabag:
Ang sinumang lalabag (estudyante man o g**o/kawani) ay maaaring mapatawan ng kaukulang parusa
Ang parusa ay nakabatay sa itinakdang disciplinary rules ng DepEd (nakasaad sa Annex G)
