Mass for the Board Exam Takers | August 26, 2026

A prayerful celebration for our Nursing and Social Work board exam takers, presided over by our School President, Rev. Fr. Eric E. dela Cruz, PhD, as we entrust their dreams, preparations, and future to God.

May St. Camillus de Lellis, patron saint of nurses and the sick, guide and strengthen our future nurses, and may St. Louise de Marillac, patron saint of social workers, inspire and accompany our future social workers.

The Feast of St. John Vianney (the Curé of Ars)

It is celebrated every August 4. He is honored as the patron saint of parish priests because of his extraordinary dedication to the priesthood, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and the pastoral care of his people.

St. John Vianney reminds the Church that true greatness in ministry is found not in prestige or talent but in holiness, humility, and selfless service. Although he struggled academically and faced many challenges before becoming a priest, his deep love for God and unwavering commitment to his vocation transformed the small village of Ars into a center of spiritual renewal. Thousands traveled from all over France to seek his counsel and celebrate the Sacrament of Confession.

Priests to be faithful shepherds who lead God's people with compassion, holiness, and dedication. The faithful to rediscover the value of the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the importance of prayer. Young people to remain open to God's call, trusting that God works through humble and willing hearts.

The celebration of St. John Vianney's feast is an invitation to:
Renew our commitment to prayer and holiness.
Appreciate and pray for priests who dedicate their lives to serving the Church.
Embrace God's mercy through repentance and the Sacrament of Confession.
Live lives of simplicity, charity, and faithful service to others.
