+1 today 🎂
This year has been one of the hardest chapters of my life.
I’ve been through more than I ever thought I could handle. There were repeated hospital stays, unexpected health struggles, surgeries and difficult days that seemed to come one after another. And in the middle of all of it.. I still had to work, still had responsibilities and still had to be there for the people who needed me.
Then came a loss that changed everything.
It all happened so fast. There was barely enough time to process one painful moment before another came. And even while carrying the weight of grief.. I still had to wake up, work, take care of my responsibilities and keep moving.
The world doesn’t stop when your heart is hurting. Life keeps going even when a part of you wishes you could just pause and breathe.
There were days when I was physically and emotionally exhausted. Days when anxiety and sadness became overwhelming. Days when I questioned my strength and honestly felt like I was close to giving up.
But somehow..I kept showing up.
Not because I was always strong. Not because I was okay.
Sometimes..I simply had no choice but to take one more breath, one more step and get through one more day.
And now on my birthday..I realize that making it this far is already a blessing.
I’m still grieving. I’m still healing. There are things my heart is still trying to understand and accept. But I’m learning that I can carry grief and gratitude at the same time.
So today, above everything else, I thank God. 🙏
Thank You Lord for giving me strength when I had none left. For carrying me through the moments I couldn't carry myself. For giving me another year of life despite everything I’ve been through.
And to the people who truly cared..to those who checked on me, listened, prayed for me, helped me, encouraged me or simply stayed when I wasn't myself..thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🤍
You may not realize how much your kindness meant to me especially during the moments when I was silently struggling.
I may not have everything figured out.
I’m still healing, still grieving and still finding my way back to myself.
But I’m here.
Still standing. Still breathing. Still believing. Still grateful.
+1 by God’s grace.🤍
