You probably don’t know just how grateful I am to have you in our lives.
There are days when I come home completely exhausted, carrying all the worries, pressure, and things I had to deal with throughout the day. But the moment I see your smile, hear your sweet little voice, or feel your arms around me, somehow, everything feels lighter.
Your sweetness has a way of making my exhaustion fade away. Your simple “I love you, Daddy” fills the empty spaces in my heart that I sometimes don’t even know are there. And every time you hug me, you remind me that I am not alone—that no matter how difficult life gets, I have a reason to keep going.
I always thank the Lord for giving you to us. You are one of the greatest blessings He has ever placed in my life, and I hope you know how deeply loved you are.
Growing up, there were many things I wished I had. There were moments I wished for more time, more affection, more family moments, and simply the feeling of being truly cared for. And now that I have you, I want to make sure you experience all the love and happiness that I once wished for.
I may not be a perfect dad. I may get tired, make mistakes, or sometimes struggle to find the right words. But I promise you this: I will always do my best to give you the love, attention, guidance, and presence that you deserve.
What amazes me most is how you understand things even at your young age. Sometimes, you don't even realize how much your little words and actions affect me. You may think you're just being sweet, giving me a hug, or saying “I love you,” but for me, those little moments mean everything.
Someday, you may grow up and become too busy for these little hugs and sweet words. But I hope you never forget that there was a time when your little arms could make Daddy feel like everything in the world was going to be okay.
Thank you for being my little source of strength and happiness. Thank you for loving me in the simplest and purest way.
Daddy loves you more than words can ever explain.
And no matter how big you become, you will always be one of the little reasons why Daddy keeps fighting, keeps working, and keeps trying to become a better man.
