Fifteen years ago, a group of friends in Bataan had a simple idea—collect old toys and give them to kids who don’t usually get gifts during Christmas. They started small, using their own resources and hiking to remote communities just to hand out toys.

That small act of kindness grew into the Donate-A-Doll, a movement that has now reached thousands of children. Over the years, they’ve gone beyond toys, providing meals, school supplies, and groceries to communities that need them most.

We like to share a special project that we worked on earlier this year and we think that it's very timely this coming Mother's Day. Our team is proud to have played a small part in producing this video. But the main highlight for us is meeting Alma, Joy and Brenda. These strong women who turned their adversities into meaningful advocacy are truly inspiring. We've spent half a day talking to these women. We laughed, we cried, drank beer together, and we are thankful to them for trusting us. It's not every day that we get to help shed light on these unknown but important stories in our community here in Olongapo City.
