Sometimes, forgiveness isn’t about waiting for the words “I’m sorry.” It’s about choosing peace for yourself even when the other person doesn’t admit their mistake. To forgive without an apology is strength—it means you value your healing more than holding on to anger. It doesn’t mean you forget what happened or that what they did was right. It simply means you refuse to let the hurt control your heart any longer. Totoo naman—darating yung araw na matutulog na siya ng mag-isa. Darating yung araw na hindi na niya ako hahanapin bago pumikit. At darating din yung araw na ako na ang maghahanap sa kanya, kasi mas gusto na niyang matulog nang sarili niya. 😔

Kaya ngayon, when she needs me to hold him close para makatulog ng mahimbing… gagawin ko. Hindi dahil spoiled siya. But because this season is so, so short. Sobrang bilis ng araw—isang iglap lang, iba na yung kailangan nila.

Right now, my arms are her safest place. My warmth is her comfort. And if holding her a little longer means
she feels secure, then so be it.

We’re not raising robots na dapat independent agad-agad. We’re raising kids—tiny humans with big emotions. And one day, they’ll grow into confident, secure, and independent adults… kasi naranasan muna nila yung pakiramdam na safe, cared for, at mahal na mahal.
