Today, we welcome the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, Most Rev. Charles John Brown, D.D., to Sts. Peter and Paul Parish.

As the Pope’s representative, he will lead the Eucharistic Celebration and bless the newly renovated retablo mayor.

Let us come together in prayer and thanksgiving for this grace-filled event.

"Joyful Service with Christ on the Cross"

Serving the Lord is a privilege and a blessing. For me, as an altar server of the Mother of the Redeemer Parish, Fatima Cogon Ormoc City. It is a great joy to serve the Lord in the Holy Mass. Serving Him is never a waste of time. Despite how busy we are, we always find time to serve and do activities for His greater Glory.

And as my daily quote, "God will provide". God will provide everything. Many of us are students. And every student has a lot of school work. But as I have said, that God will provide and just let the Holy Spirit work in your daily activities. And while you are serving, you can also make new friends. It's a wonderful experience and it's something that makes you feel complete and happy.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I am "full name", joyfully serving the Lord Jesus Christ at Mother of the Redeemer Parish for "years or months". I always feel blessed while serving the Lord and I'm hoping that I could share this feeling of mine with you. Always pray to God and thank Him for the blessings that He has given you everyday.

The Mother of the Redeemer Parish - Knights of the Altar Ministry gives its heartfelt farewell to Fr. Crisologo B. Motril Jr. for his more than two years of dutiful service and unwavering dedication to our parish and ministry.

Fr. Cris, your guidance has shaped not only how we serve at the altar, but how we live our faith each day. You have been a true spiritual father to us who kind demeanor and joyful smile rejuvenated the spirit of every server. Your example reminded us that every small act of service has meaning when offered to God.

Though your assignment now leads you to another parish, your legacy here will remain strong. The discipline you instilled, the kindness you showed, and the faith you nurtured will continue to echo in our ministry and in our hearts.

We pray that you continue to touch hearts, form faithful communities, and lead others closer to God wherever you are sent. May your new parish embrace you with the same love and respect that we hold for you here.

Thank you, Fr. Cris, for being part of our journey. We send you off with our love, gratitude, and deep respect. May God bless you abundantly in this new chapter of your priestly vocation.
