PRETENDING TO BE A FACEBOOK MONITORING TEAM

Today, I opened my page and noticed a notification stating that my page was scheduled for deletion due to an alleged violation. Upon checking, I became a bit worried. (See screenshots attached.)
However, I am fully aware of everything I have posted, and in my assessment, none of my posts violate any rules.

After reviewing the notification more carefully, I discovered that it actually came from a dummy account pretending to be a Facebook Monitoring Team. The account even left a review to make it appear legitimate.

Thankfully, I did not click the link included in the notification. It was clearly a bait and deceptive attempt. If I had carelessly clicked the link, my page, even though it does not have many followers could have been compromised in the blink of an eye.

Personal struggles and emotions are indeed valid. We all go through different challenges in life. It’s healthy to share and be heard and supportive colleagues are truly a favor. However, our personal battles should not be carried into our work responsibilities because work remains work. While others may listen and empathize, it is not their obligation to emotionally adjust around us.
While we may agree that it’s important to be understanding, we also need to remember that work interactions are distinct from personal challenges. Humor or casual conversation should never be assumed to be a mockery of someone’s struggles.
