🌧 Emong and Habagat to Bring More Rains Over Luzon and Visayas 🌧

Tropical Depression Emong (international name: Co-May) and the southwest monsoon (habagat) will continue to affect weather conditions across parts of Luzon and the Visayas, PAGASA said in its 5 PM bulletin Saturday.

🔹 Emong was spotted 500 km northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, packing maximum winds of 55 kph and gusts of up to 70 kph. It is moving northeastward at 70 kph.

▪ Zambales
▪ Bataan
▪ Occidental Mindoro

🔹 Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms:

As of 8AM today, Tropical Cyclone Emong (International name: Co-may) has weakened into a severe tropical storm, according to PAGASA.

📍 Location: In the vicinity of San Isidro, Abra (7AM)
💨 Winds: 100 kph sustained, gusts up to 165 kph
📍 Emong made its second landfall in Candon City, Ilocos Sur at 5:10 AM

⚠️ Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 is raised over:
Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Apayao, parts of La Union, Cagayan, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Benguet.

Tropical Cyclone Emong has intensified into a Severe Tropical Storm, bringing strong winds and heavy rains across Luzon, according to PAGASA.

🌀 Location: 245 km west of Bacnotan, La Union
🌬 Winds: Max sustained at 110 kph, gusts up to 135 kph
📍 Track: May pass close to Pangasinan this afternoon and may landfall over Ilocos Region tonight or early Friday.
