LOOK! A NEW ROAD, AND A NEW LANDMARK FOR KANANGA!

The concreting and opening of the road from Libongao Junction to Rizal, to be funded and implemented by the 4th Leyte Engineering District (DPWH), will soon bring another important road connection to our municipality.

In preparation for this, Mayor Matt Torres has instructed the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) to come up with a design for the proposed Libongao Rotonda/Roundabout.

And then, we thought—why not ask AI to help us visualize what it could look like in 3D, while highlighting something that makes Kananga truly unique:

KANANGA — THE GEOTHERMAL CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES.

Viola! 😃😃😃

Here are some of the design concepts AI came up with—from geothermal rocks and steam, to geothermal pipelines, turbines, towers, and clean-energy-inspired structures.

Of course, these are concepts only, but they can give us ideas and possibilities for what we can eventually create.

LGU Kananga is creating more green spaces for its constituents!

One of Mayor Matt Torres’ goals is to make our public spaces greener, more open, and more accessible—places where Kanangahanons can relax, spend time with family, enjoy the surroundings, and at the same time promote a healthier and greener community.

In just one to two weeks, mahuman na kini, and we look forward to seeing the area transformed into a greener, fresher, and more welcoming space for everyone.
