Today, we joyfully celebrate Pentecost — the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, filling them with divine courage, wisdom, and the fire of God's love. Fifty days after Easter, this sacred day marks the birth of the Church, when ordinary men were transformed into bold witnesses of Christ, speaking in many tongues and spreading the Good News to all nations.

Pentecost is the day when the Church was born. After Jesus ascended to heaven, He promised to send the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen His followers. On Pentecost, that promise was fulfilled. The apostles, who were once fearful and in hiding, were suddenly filled with courage and power.

On May 28, 2025, the Holy Rosary Parish in Oroquieta City held a special seminar for all Lectors and Commentators.

This meaningful gathering helped deepen their understanding of their important role in the Mass to proclaim God’s Word with clarity, reverence, and faith. The seminar included reflections, practical training, and reminders about the sacred duty of speaking God’s message to the people.

Today, May 29, 2025, the Archdiocesan Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of Ozamis held a special Pre-National Youth Day workshop and meeting for all pilgrims at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish in Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental.

This gathering was a time of learning, sharing, and preparation as young people from different parishes came together to get ready for the upcoming National Youth Day. The workshop helped the pilgrims understand the importance of their journey, the meaning behind the celebration, and how they can grow in their faith as youth.

It was a day filled with joy and prayer. The event reminded us that even as young people, we are called to serve, to grow in love, and to follow Jesus with happy and faithful hearts.
