Ang β±1 bilyon nga modernisasyon proyekto, nga gisugdan pa sa panahon ni Gov. Oaminal isip kongresista, naglakip sa pagtukod sa bag-ong terminal building, pagpalapad ug pagpalapad sa runway, ug uban pang imprastrukturang kalambuan. Lakip sa mga detalyadong pondo niini mao ang:

β±285.30 milyon alang sa Ozamiz Airport Development Project (Phase 1);

Uban sa tibuok nga suporta sa CAAP ug sa Asenso Misamis Occidental Administration, kini nga proyekto usa ka timaan sa padayon nga pag-asenso sa probinsya, nga nagpalig-on sa konektibidad, turismo, ug ekonomiya sa Misamis Occidental.///
Daku ang pagpasalamat ni Bonifacio Vice Mayor Fe Manzo sa mga proyekto nga gibubu ni Misamis Occidental 2nd District Congressman Ando Oaminal, labi na ang bag-ong giturn-over nga duha ka Barangay Health Stations (BHS) alang sa mga residente sa Barangay Tiaman ug Barangay Buracan.

Miubos og kapin sa β±1.50 Matag Kilowatt-Hour ang Power Rate sa MOELCI-II Karong Oktubre
Ang Misamis Occidental II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MOELCI-II) nagpahibalo sa pag-ubos sa rate sa kuryente og kapin sa β±1.50 matag kilowatt-hour (kWh) alang sa mga residential consumers sa October billing period.
Gikan sa β±12.8323 matag kWh niadtong bulan sa Setyembre, ang rate miubos ngadto sa β±11.3099 matag kWh karong Oktubre.
Ang maong pag-ubos sa rate sa kuryente tungod sa pagpadayon sa operasyon sa mga planta sa Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) β usa sa mga nag-unang power suppliers sa kooperatiba β human kini mipailalom sa preventive maintenance.
Ang pag-ubos sa presyo sa kuryente sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) nakatampo usab sa pag-ubos sa rate. Ang presyo sa WESM mikunhod gikan sa mga β±7.00 matag kWh niadtong Setyembre ngadto sa β±4.00 matag kWh karong bulan sa Oktubre.
Sa pagkakaron, ang MOELCI-II nag-angkat og 25 megawatts (MW) nga suplay sa kuryente gikan sa FDC ug 4.9 MW gikan sa Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM).

Misamis is a former province of the Philippines. It corresponds to the present provinces of Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Bukidnon, part of Zamboanga del Norte, Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte, and part of Cotabato.[
Misamis takes its name from an old settlement at the mouth of the Panguil Bay once populated by Subanen, now the city of Ozamiz. Misamis is believed derived from the term kuyamis, a term for a sweet variety of coconut. However, as a result of continued raids by Moros from Lanao, the Subanens retreated into the interior and Visayan and Bukidnon settlers occupied the coast. Misamis was part of the province of Cebu until it was made into separate corregimiento in the late 18th century. By 1818, Misamis was organized as a province covering the region from Dapitan in the west, up to Gingoog in the east and as far as Cotabato and Lanao del Sur in the south. Effective control, however, was limited to the coast.
For most of the 17th and 18th centuries, Misamis remained vulnerable to the Moro slave raiders. Forts were constructed, the principal ones being in Misamis (Fuerte dela Concepcion y del Triunfo), Iligan and Cagayan de Misamis. The population of Misamis gradually increased during the 19th century due largely to the influx of settlers from Cebu and Bohol.
Misamis used to be a part of Cebu. In 1818, it became a "corregimento" made up of four "partidos" or divisions: Partido de Misamis, Partido de Dapitan, Partido de Cagayan and Partido de Catarman. During the latter part of the 19th century, Misamis was one of the six districts of Mindanao and, later, one of the seven districts in Mindanao and Sulu at the close of the Spanish era with Cagayan de Misamis (now Cagayan de Oro) as its capital. When it was still a part of the district of Cebu, there were twelve Spaniards and nine Filipinos who successively served as "governadore" with Mayor Carabello as the first governor in 1874.
In 1917, following the organization of the Department of Mindanao and Sulu, the province of Misamis lost the territory of Iligan to the province of Lanao. In 1929, the Philippine Legislature passed Act No. 3537 creating the provinces of Misamis Occidental and Misamis Oriental.
