Agiโ€™g tubag nato sa panawagan sa Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) nga makigtambayayong sa kalihukan sa Church Leaders Council for National Transformation (CLCNT), ako nag-awhag kaninyo sa pagtambong karong ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“, sa ipahigayon nga Prayer Protest Rally, ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐“๐‘๐ˆ๐‹๐‹๐ˆ๐Ž๐ ๐๐„๐’๐Ž ๐Œ๐€๐‘๐‚๐‡.

Gihangyo usab ang tanang nga ๐™ข๐™–๐™œ-๐™จ๐™ช๐™ก-๐™ค๐™— ๐™ค๐™œ ๐™ฅ๐™ช๐™ฉ๐™ž nga sinina ug magdala og mga streamers nga gisulat sa puti nga panapton o uban pang biodegradable materials (dili tarpaulin!). Kini ang gisugyot nga mga taglines:

โ€ข SOBRA NA, TAMA NA, TUNHAY NGA HUSTISYA IKASA NA.
โ€ข AW HAG SA KATAWHAN, HUSTISYA IPAHAMTANG
โ€ข IPATUMAN ANG BALAOD SA FREEDOM OF INFORMATION,
โ€ข KURAPSYON MALI KAYAN
โ€ข STOP FLOODING US WITH CORRUPTION

3 NPA Surrender to 402nd Infantry Brigade Amid Intensified Operations in Eastern Misamis Oriental

CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City โ€“ Three (3) remnants of the New Peopleโ€™s Army (NPA) under the Sub-Regional Committee 1 (SRC1) of the North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC) surrendered to the troops of the 402nd Infantry (Stingers) Brigade of 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division, Philippine Army, following relentless focused military operations in Eastern Misamis Oriental on November 18, 2025.

The surrenders came after the recent yielding of their Secretary, Zaldy Galamiton alias Shaggy/Poldo, which triggered another wave of voluntary surrenders from NPA remnants under SRC1 of the NCMRC. This development resulted from the sustained presence and pressure of government forces in the area, carried out through the joint efforts of the 58th Infantry Battalion, 23rd Infantry Battalion, and 28th Infantry Battalion under the supervision of their respective commanders, with the individuals turning over an AR18 rifle along with a magazine loaded with seventeen rounds of ammunition.

Initial custodial debriefing revealed that one of the surrender, Alvin Regidor Redondo /ETI/HAISEN/NOAH/ KAL, was previously considered a potential successor within their group due to his noted capabilities, as earlier disclosed during a prior interview. They are now undergoing further custodial debriefing and documentation at the designated facility in Butuan City.

Brigadier General Adolfo B. Espuelas Jr., Brigade Commander of the 402nd Infantry Brigade, underscored that this series of surrenders signifies the continuing decline in the strength and morale of the NPA. He stated that their decision to abandon the armed struggle is a direct result of the sustained pressure from focused military operations and the 4IDโ€™s consistent engagement with local communities, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining peace and security for the people.

In a statement, 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division Commander, Major General Michele B. Anayron Jr. lauded the achievement of the Stingers Brigade, highlighting that the surrender of these NPA remnants demonstrates the growing trust of former rebels in the governmentโ€™s peace programs. He reaffirmed the divisionโ€™s commitment to supporting those who wish to return to the fold of the law, stressing that the Army will continue to create conditions conducive to peace, development, and lasting stability in the region.

LANDMINES FOUND NEAR CIVILIAN PATH IN SURIGAO DEL SUR โ€” ARMY

MARIHATAG, Surigao del Sur โ€” Soldiers from the Armyโ€™s 75th Infantry Battalion discovered two anti-personnel land mines buried along a civilian footpath in the upland area of Barangay San Pedro on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.

The patrol team found the devices concealed along the route, posing what they described as a serious threat to civilians regularly passing through the area.

Lt. Col. Earl Pardillo, commanding officer of the 75th IB, said the use of anti-personnel mines is a โ€œgrave violation of international humanitarian lawโ€ and that the timely detection prevented possible casualties.

โ€œThe capture of these anti-personnel mines highlights the continuing threat such devices pose to innocent lives. APMs do not distinguish between soldiers and civilians, and even children could have been the victims. These devices leave lifelong physical and emotional scars on communities,โ€ Pardillo said.

Maj. Gen. Michele Anayron Jr., commander of the 4th Infantry โ€œDiamondโ€ Division, commended the troops for their swift action, saying their vigilance averted potential harm to residents.

LPP ADOPTS RESOLUTION EXPRESSING FULL SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT MARCOS, BACKING ANTI-CORRUPTION DRIVE

November 18, 2025 โ€” The League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) has formally declared its full support for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., citing his administrationโ€™s ongoing reforms, anti-corruption initiatives, and efforts to uplift the lives of Filipinos.

In General Assembly Resolution No. 13-03-25-28, sponsored by Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr., the LPP rallied its member-provinces to protect the presidency โ€œfrom the adversaries of the Constitution, democracy, and good governance.โ€

The resolution highlights that over 31 million Filipinos elected President Marcos in the May 2022 elections and that the first half of his term has seen significant economic and social development programs.

The LPP also underscored the publicโ€™s growing appreciation of these reforms, noting improvements already being felt at the grassroots level.

A major focus of the resolution is President Marcosโ€™ intensified anti-corruption stance, amplified during his 2025 State of the Nation Address, where he exposed a massive flood control corruption scandal and publicly named at least 15 contractors allegedly involved.

Following this, the President established an Independent Commission for Infrastructures (ICI) to investigate irregularities in public works. The Department of Justice and the Office of the Ombudsman have since commenced case build-up and preliminary investigations targeting public officials, private institutions, and contractors linked to the scandal.

The LPP also cited the nationโ€™s struggle to recover from recent major earthquakes in the Visayas and Mindanao, as well as consecutive typhoons that required coordinated government intervention.

While affirming the constitutional right to assembly and expression, the LPP cautioned against groups allegedly exploiting these freedoms for โ€œvested interests.โ€ The resolution urged unity among officials, stressing that now is the time to address pressing national concerns rather than sow division.

Under the resolution, the LPP committed to promoting peace, stability, and accountable governance while collaborating closely with national agencies to safeguard democratic institutions.

Copies of the resolution will be forwarded to key government offices, including the Office of the President, Senate, House of Representatives, Judiciary, the Department of Justice, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

The resolution was adopted on November 18, 2025, as certified by LPP Secretary-General Gov. Henry S. Oaminal and attested by National Chairman Gov. Dakila Carlo E. Cua and National President Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr.

Quezon City, Philippines โ€” November 14, 2025.
The Diocese of Cubao has formally expressed its solidarity with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) through a letter addressed to the AFP Chief of Staff, Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., reaffirming the Churchโ€™s support for the militaryโ€™s role in safeguarding democracy and national stability.

In the letter signed by Cubao Bishop Elias L. Ayuban Jr., CMF, the clergy, consecrated persons, and lay faithful of the Diocese conveyed their โ€œsupport and solidarityโ€ with the AFP as it continues to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law.

โ€œWe stand firmly with you in the defense of our democratic institutions and the Filipino people, especially in these challenging times for our nation,โ€ the Bishop wrote. He emphasized the Churchโ€™s appreciation of the AFPโ€™s commitment to maintaining peace, order, and unity grounded in justice and democracy.

The Diocese also assured its continued prayers for the AFP and the country, hoping for a โ€œpeaceful and lawful resolutionโ€ to the current situation facing the nation.

โ€œMay the Lord of peace and truth guide you and all those entrusted with the protection of our nation,โ€ Bishop Ayuban added.

The letter, received by the Office of the Chief of Staff on November 14, underscores the Churchโ€™s pastoral support for the military as both institutions navigate the nationโ€™s ongoing challenges.
