NEPAL’S PRIME MINISTER OUSTED: Nepal’s Parliament, Supreme Court, and Singha Durbar Set Ablaze Amid Anti-Corruption Protests
Massive protests erupted in Nepal yesterday as demonstrators, mostly Gen Z youth, torched key government institutions including Parliament offices, the iconic Singha Durbar Palace, and even the Supreme Court, in a fiery show of outrage against corruption and digital repression.
“We are looking for change. Time is up for these old leaders. We don’t need them, we need the youth,” the youth rallyist said
The public uproar has already forced Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli to resign from his post. Analysts and observers are now calling the uprising a “Gen Z movement,” fueled by digital natives demanding accountability, transparency, and generational change in leadership.
