WORKING IN TANDEM FOR HEALTH INFORMATION | Leading a session in communications planning for health and development, PIA-9 Assistant Regional Head Emmanuel Taghoy emphasizes the need to make health information clearer, more reliable, and easier to reach even to the farthest communities.

Fulfilling the Administration’s commitment to improving the country’s healthcare access, especially in unserved and underserved areas, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. once again joins the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in distributing Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) during a program in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte on August 1, 2025.

A total of 106 PTVs are to be distributed to various cities and municipalities across the Provinces of Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Lanao del Sur and Isabela City in Basilan.

In line with the President’s directive, the distribution of PTVs is part of the PCSO’s Medical Transport Vehicle Donation Program (MTVDP) which aims to provide local government units (LGUs) and hospitals, especially those in vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, with much-needed medical transport vehicles.

Each PTV is equipped with essential medical tools, including a stretcher, oxygen tank, blood pressure monitor, and other supplies to ensure the safe and prompt transport of patients.
