BREAKING NEWS: Israel Under Fire from Iranian Missiles

Iran has launched a wide-scale aerial assault against Israel in an unprecedented revenge mission, threatening to push the Middle East to the brink of a regional war. Israel reports the Islamic regime in Tehran has launched more than 200 projectiles, including attack drones and ballistic missiles. Rocket sirens and booms could be heard across the entire country. US officials say the US military has shot down Iranian drones headed to Israel. Britain's Defense Ministry says its jets will "intercept any airborne attacks within range of our existing missions, as required."

US: Biden seemed to struggle with recalling Hamas's name during a recent update on a hostage deal

President Joe Biden, during a press briefing, seemed to have a momentary lapse when discussing updates on hostage negotiations involving the group commonly referred to as Hamas. After urging Republicans to support a bipartisan immigration and border deal, which includes funding for Ukraine and Israel, the 81-year-old appeared to hesitate over the name of the organization, with a reporter ultimately prompting him with the word "Hamas."

ISRAEL: Netanyahu says most Hamas units are defeated, and Israel's military will continue in southern Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Sunday that 17 out of 24 Hamas combat battalions have been dismantled, with the remaining mostly in southern Gaza, including Rafah. He emphasized Israel's commitment to addressing the remaining battalions. The conflict with Hamas has lasted over 100 days, with Israel aiming to eliminate the group after a significant attack on October 7th resulted in over 1,200 casualties.

YEMEN: The UK and the US initiate a new round of attacks on Houthi targets

The UK and US conducted joint airstrikes in Yemen against Iran-backed Houthi groups, hitting 36 targets across 13 locations. RAF Typhoon FGR4s from Cyprus, aided by Voyager tankers, targeted Houthi positions in the Bab al Mandab and southern Red Sea. Precision-guided Paveway IV bombs were used against military targets, including a ground control station controlling Houthi drones. The strikes aimed to deter Houthi attacks on international shipping.
