The Saint Columban College - Grand Student Council (SCC-GranSCil) successfully brought magic and excitement to campus as it hosted the Orgs Fair 2026 on April 8โ9 at the Youth Development Center (YDC), this city.
With a captivating Pixie Hollows-inspired theme, the two-day event highlighted creativity, collaboration, and student engagement, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of color, fantasy, and school spirit.
The Orgs Fair 2026 was celebrated through the active participation of SCCโs various non-academic clubs, emphasizing that beyond being an academically driven institution, the school also values creativity, passion, and extracurricular involvement.
The event served as a platform to recognize and showcase the often hidden talents of every SCCian, giving students the opportunity to express themselves beyond the classroom.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Madynne B. Omandam, GranSCil President, encouraged students to confidently showcase their abilities, emphasizing that talents are a reflection of who they are as individuals. She urged everyone to step forward, participate, and let their unique skills shine throughout the event.
Meanwhile, in his inspirational message, Mr. Rosebelt S. Lomocso, LPT, MPA, CHRA, CSASS, the Director of Student Affairs (DSA), highlighted the long-term value of joining non-academic clubs.
โWe can have a story to tell to the younger generations,โ he shared, inspiring students to actively engage and create meaningful experiences beyond academics.
From fairy-themed decorations to lively showcases, each team demonstrated its unique identity while promoting camaraderie and inclusivity among students.
Through this initiative, SCC reaffirmed its commitment to youth development by encouraging students to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop essential skills.
