NOTICE OF NGCP SCHEDULED POWER INTERRUPTION

Date: August 31, 2026 (Monday)
Time: 5:00 am to 6:00 pm
Duration: 13 Hours

Affected Areas:
> Municipality of Aurora (Excluding Barangays Lubid, Lantungan, Inroad and Resthouse)
> Municipalities of Ramon Magsaysay, Sominot, Midsalip, Tambulig, Molave, Mahayag, Dumingag, Josefina of Zamboanga del sur
> Municipality of Don Victoriano, Misamis Occidental
> Including Barangays Navalan, Sambulawan, Buenasuerte of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur

Reasons of Power Interruption:

NGCP will conduct shutdown of the Aurora-Calamba 69kV Line and Aurora-Magangon 69kV Line to facilitate the configuration of the 5.48 km double circuit 69 kV transmission lines as part of the approved corrective action plan to address the recurring line trippings that occured from May 15-22, 2026, to enhance system reliability and prevent similar incidents in the future.

Power will be restored without prior notice as soon as the maintenance works are completed. Please take the necessary preparations and precautions in anticipation of this scheduled power interruption.

MUDSLIDE, CAUGHT ON CAM SA BORDER SA PAGITAN NG NEPAL AT CHINA; MGA TAO, NAGSITAKBUHAN PARA MAKALIKAS

Sa video, makikita ang mga taong nagsisitakbuhan ilang segundo bago ang mudslide na nangyari sa pagitan ng border ng Nepal at China nitong Miyerkules, August 26, 2026.

Ilang segundo lang, makikitang nabalot na ng maitim na usok dala ng mga nagbagsakang lupa at bato ang lugar.

Ayon sa Rasuwa district administrator sa Nepal, maaaring maraming mai-report na nasawi at napinsala matapos ang mudslide.

Dagdag pa ng isang news agency sa China, ang mudslide ay nagdulot ng mga sirang kalsada, problema sa linya ng komunikasyon at kuryente sa ilang rehiyon.

Base sa policr report sa kapulisan, gilusad ang operasyon pasado alas-11:30 sa gabii niadtong Agosto 25, 2026 sa may National Highway sa maong barangay.

Gipahigayon ang maong operasyon pinaagi sa hiniusang pwersa sa mga sakop sa 902nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Zamboanga del Sur Police Station Intelligence Unit o ZSPIU, ug Dumingag Municipal Police Station uban ang koordinasyon sa Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 9.

Ayon sa mga ulat, nauna nang niyanig ng magnitude 4.4 na lindol ang lugar na nagbunsod ng malaking landslide. Hinarang ng gumuhong lupa ang daloy ng tubig sa Bhote Koshi River malapit sa border ng Tibet, dahilan upang bigla itong umapaw at mabilis na rumagasa sa mga pamayanan.

Prove The Impeachable Offense. Prove It With Evidenceโ€”Not Insults, Speculation, Or Political Theatrics.

Prosecutors and members of Congress who want to legitimize the two impeachment complaintsโ€”filed without a shred of evidenceโ€”should be confident in the strength of the case. They should not be fishing for evidence during the trial or desperately try to turn something they wish to be true into a wild story of alleged wrongdoing.

A strong case does not need the adornment of theatrics. A Senator calling a witness โ€œstupid,โ€ a lawyer calling me the โ€œmastermind of a scamโ€ or another witness referring to me as a "brat," does not prove a case, nor does it produce evidence. Insults reveal the need to feign confidence in the face of a weak presentation.

Mga kababayan, lubog na ang bansa sa baha at kahirapan, pero tila walang mananagot, dahil ang impeachment, ang paghati-hatian ang 2027 budget, at ang paghahanda kung papaano baliin ang Constitution para manatili sa puwesto ang prayoridad ng administrasyon at lahat ng kaalyado nito.
