QUEZON DELEGATES, KAMPEON SA RADIO SCRIPTWRITING AND BROADCASTING SECONDARY FILIPINO NG RECONFIGURED REGIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE 2026

Tinanghal na kampeon sa Radio Scriptwriting and Broadcasting, sa Secondary Filipino category, ang mga delegado mula sa Lalawigan ng Quezon sa katatapos pa lamang na Reconfigured Regional Schools Press Conference o RRSPC 2026.

Ayon kay ‘Ang Talipeño’ school paper adviser Jerwin Tierra, nakamit pa ng mga miyembro broadcast team ang iba’t ibang parangal.

Sila ay sina Jennevy Alarcon, news anchor at infomercialist; Theo Carurucan, best technical application; John Roi Alegre, best news presenter at best scriptwriter; at James Bryan Rustia na muling nakuha ang best anchor award sa ikatlong pagkakataon.

Samantala, mula naman sa Quezon National High School sina Flint Xian Quimpol, best news presenter; Rhayzell Ann V***a, news presenter; at Kylie Clio Sosma, news presenter.

Kapwa ang student radio broadcasters ng dalawang paaralan ay mapakikinggan at mapanonood sa Radyo Pilipinas Lucena sa programang Campus Mic, tuwing Huwebes, 2-3PM.

TNHS-SPJ, Radyo Pilipinas Lucena ink partnership for campus radio program

Talipan National High School (TNHS), through its Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) and official school publications El/Ang Talipeño, formally sealed a partnership with the Presidential Broadcast Service–Bureau of Broadcast Services (PBS-BBS) via Radyo Pilipinas Lucena through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)

Under the agreement, both institutions will co-produce a radio program titled which will air every fourth Thursday of the month over Radyo Pilipinas Lucena. The program will serve as a platform for student journalists to showcase campus and community-based news, features, discussions, and youth-oriented issues relevant to the community.

The partnership aims to provide journalism students with hands-on exposure to professional broadcasting, allowing them to experience real radio production processes, including scriptwriting, anchoring, interviewing, audio production, and on-air delivery. Through Campus Mic, students are expected to strengthen their communication skills, ethical journalism practices, confidence, and familiarity with industry standards.

Present during the MOA signing were Getulio C. Cantos, Acting Broadcast Station Manager of Radyo Pilipinas Lucena; Marina R. Abueva, Principal IV of Talipan National High School; Jerwin S. Tierra, SPJ Coordinator and School Paper Adviser of El/Ang Talipeño; and Talipeño Press Radio Broadcasters James Bryant T. Rustia and Samuel Geus R. Ayaay.

Coming back for another round, El/Ang Talipeño, The Official School Publications of DepEd Tayo Talipan NHS - Quezon Province continue the winning streak in the School Paper Contest in the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC).

This year, Ang Talipeño Tomo VI Bilang 1 was hailed as the Overall First Best School Paper in Secondary Filipino, while El Talipeño Volume IV No. 1 clinched the Overall Second Best School Paper in Secondary English category, securing spots for the CALABARZON Reconfigured Regional Schools Press Conference (RRSPC) this February 2026.
