𝐍𝐄𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬
The Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) sets a celebration and collaboration with Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University of Thailand and Universiti Malaya of Malaysia. The said Event held on August 23, 2025, at NEUST Sumacab Campus Mini, Convention Center. With the theme "𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚".
Distinguished international speakers graced the occasion, including Dr. Ali Sorayyaei Azar from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, who discussed the topic entitled" From Concept to Publication": The Role of Al in Applied Linguistics Research and Dr. Danty James from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Thailand, who presented the "Transformational Leadership on ASEAN Higher Education: Navigating Inclusivity, Sustainability and Global Collaborations."
As part of the celebration, NEUST showcased ASEAN culture and diversity through an inter-campus cultural exhibit and parade held on August 22, 2025, at the NEUST Closed Gymnasium. Various campuses, departments and colleges are assigned to their ASEAN Countries to highlight and showcase different cultural attires. The Atate Campus highlighted the Philippines, with delegates donning traditional barong and saya.
Including the other colleges and satellite campuses of NEUST—such as Talavera, San Antonio, Sto. Domingo, and Carranglan which also represented ASEAN member countries, namely Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, respectively. Dr. Ali Sorayyaei Azar and Dr. Danty James from Suan Sunandha gives a short message highlighting the ASEAN 2025 Theme during the Parade.
From Atate Campus, proudly representing the Philippines as delegates in the ASEAN 2025 international celebration are 𝐌𝐬. 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐒𝐁𝐀 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨-𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐓. Their participation plays a vital role in promoting international collaboration, inclusivity and showcasing the beauty of the country Philippines.
The ASEAN 2025 celebration reaffirmed NEUST’s dedication to fostering world-class education, innovation, and ethical leadership. By engaging with international partners, the University continues to strengthen its role in building a more inclusive and sustainable ASEAN community
