๐๐๐๐ | Chevalier School, Inc.(CS), is committed to providing a safe and values-oriented learning environment. To support this commitment, the Student Handbook Review and Revision Committee of CS held a series of meetings to revisit and update its Student Handbook.
The Student Handbook revisions made within the month of June to deliberate school rules, policies, and procedures to ensure they remain responsive to the needs of the student body.
The committee is composed of representatives from both the Grade School and High School departments, led by Officers-in-Charge, Mr. Marvin Aloysis C. Sanchez and Mr. Albert P. Esguerra. They were joined by the Academic Coordinators, Mr. Frederic T. Vidal and Mrs. Lady Anne Sampana, Prefect of Discipline Officers, Mrs. Maria Lourdes M. Reyes and Mrs. Marissa Y. Venzon, High School Guidance Facilitator, Mrs. Jane Y. Canlas, High School Campus Minister, Mr. Mark Anthony M. Joven, and faculty members, Miss Jamielyn L. Bacallo, Miss Jelyn G. David, and Miss Jenalyn P. Paras.
This committee collaborated to address different concerns raised and first-hand experiences in previous academic years, including updates to the guidelines, anti-bullying measures, and student discipline protocols.
On June 25, the committee presented the revised handbook to the School Rector, Rev. Fr. Richard C. Montaner, for his insights and approval.
The following day, June 26, the committee consulted with key stakeholdersโPresident of the Parent-Teacher Association Mother Board, Mr. Glenn S. Zamora, and student-leaders, Brianna Canlas and Raivastian Christoff Salas, from the Supreme Secondary Learners Government.
The school emphasizes that this revision is not merely procedural but is part of a broader initiative to instill accountability, fairness, and mutual respect in the Chevalier community.
