Agorto, at Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist, Lovell Mark C. Campania ng DTI Isabela.

Ang nasabing grupo ay malugod na tinanggap ni City Administrator Juanito Calubaquib, kasama sina City Economic and Investments Promotion Center Head Maximilan Umoso at City Engineer Wenceslao Arao.

For today’s , we’re putting the spotlight on Cagayan State University-Electro Mobility Research and Development Center (CSU-EMRDC’s) e-Trike, a pioneering step toward sustainable mobility through innovation and partnerships.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 – Cagayan Provincial Office proudly features the CSU e-Trike, a clean and electric-powered tricycle developed in collaboration with the University of the Philippines and the Department of Science and Technology. It is an innovation that promotes affordable, low-emission, and inclusive urban transport for a greener and more connected future.

Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, the e-Trike provides a scalable solution to air pollution, rising fuel costs, and transport inequality.

Built through strong multi-sector partnerships—with LGUs, national agencies, and local communities—the project also embodies SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, earning national recognition as a 2025 Presidential Awardee for Most Outstanding Development Partner.

As this innovation moves toward pre-commercialization, DTI R2 Cagayan stands ready to support the e-Trike through branding, promotion, and fair price regulation, driving forward the vision of sustainable, inclusive, and locally driven development.
