All hail EON of House Poligrates, First of His Name, Son of Gil and Shelou, Our Firstborn Prince, Known as Little Oppa, Big Brother and Protector of Exo, Keeper of Our Hearts, and Heir to a Future Yet Unwritten.
Today, he celebrates his eleventh nameday. Long may he grow in wisdom, kindness, and faith. Happy 11th Birthday, EON! πππ
Eleven years ago, you came into our lives and made us parents for the very first time. We were learning so much thenβhow to care for you, how to understand what you needed, and how to love someone with a love bigger than anything we had known before. We have grown alongside you, and being your parents remains one of the greatest blessings of our lives.
Sometimes, we look at you and wonder how the years passed so quickly. The little boy we once carried in our arms is now eleven, with his own thoughts, interests, dreams, and questions about the world. We miss those little versions of you, but we also love getting to know the person you are becoming. There is still so much ahead of you, anak, and we are grateful that we get to be here to watch you grow.
On your birthday, we pray that you grow with a kind heart and a strong character. May you learn to be honest even when telling the truth is difficult, respectful even when you disagree, and brave enough to stand up for what is right. May you notice when someone needs help and never feel too important to offer it. When you make a mistake, may you have the courage to admit it, say sorry, and try again. We hope you carry kindness with you wherever life takes you.
May you always keep God close to your heart. Talk to Him when you are happy, when you are worried, and when you do not know what to do. May your faith give you comfort during difficult days and remind you to be grateful during good ones. Our prayer is that you come to know Him in your own way and trust that you can turn to Him throughout your life.
In your studies, we wish you patience, curiosity, and the determination to keep learning. Ask questions, do your best, and never be ashamed to ask for help. Some lessons will come easily, and others will take more timeβthat is part of growing. We are proud of every effort you make, every problem you work through, and every time you choose to try again. Your grades matter, but they will never measure how much we love you.
May you always find love and comfort in our family. We hope you know that you can tell us about your happiest moments and your hardest ones. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to us. Even as you grow older and become more independent, there will always be a place for you beside us, a listening ear, and arms ready to welcome you home.
As Exoβs kuya, may you continue to grow in patience and love. You will not always agree, and there will be days when you annoy each other, but we hope you learn to forgive, share, and look out for one another. May you have many happy memories together and a friendship that stays with you as you grow. You do not have to be a perfect big brother, anak. We simply hope you and Exo always know that you have each other.
For your future, we wish you the freedom to discover what you love and the courage to pursue it. You do not need to decide your whole life at eleven. Enjoy learning, explore your interests, and give yourself time to grow. When the time comes to choose your own path, may you choose with wisdom and a good heart. Whatever you become, we hope you build a life that brings you purpose, peace, and people who love you well.
We also pray for your healthβfor a strong body, a peaceful mind, and a heart that feels safe and loved. May you have plenty of days filled with laughter, play, adventure, and good rest. Learn to take care of yourself and to tell us when something is troubling you. Your well-being will always matter to us.
And while you are growing, we hope you enjoy being eleven. Make memories, be silly, play with your brother, spend time with your friends, and find joy in the little things. There is no need to rush through childhood. We want you to have happy days that you can look back on with a smile.
We are still learning as parents, too. We may not always find the right words or get everything right, but we will keep trying to understand you, guide you, and be the parents you need. Thank you for the joy you bring into our home and for all the ways you have helped us grow.
Happy 11th Birthday, our dear Kuya Eon. You will always be the boy who first made us parents, and you will always have our love through every age, every change, and every chapter of your life.
We love you so much, anak. May God bless you, protect you, and guide you always. πππ
