On February 11, 2026, at around 1:00 PM, the Panabo City Police Station, led by PLTCOL Dexter R. Cuevas, Chief of Police, conducted the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the City Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (CAGPTD) Members at the Panabo CPS Office, Brgy. J.P. Laurel, Panabo City.
The ceremony formally inducted the newly appointed members who will serve as key partners of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in advancing the Police Transformation and Development Program (PTDP). Among the active partner organizations is the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Federation, represented by its President, Ms. Trisha Mae J. Barrientos, who reaffirmed the organizationβs commitment to supporting the PNP in its advocacy against illegal drugs, terrorism, and criminality, especially among the youth.
The CAGPTD plays a vital role in promoting transparency, accountability, and community engagement by providing strategic advice and support to the local police organization. In his message, PLTCOL Cuevas emphasized the importance of police-community collaboration, recognizing the significant contribution of partner organizations such as the KKDAT Federation in strengthening public trust and improving police services. He encouraged the council members to actively support initiatives that promote peace and order in Panabo City.
The event concluded with a photo opportunity and a renewed commitment from both the PNP and the CAGPTD members, including the KKDAT Federation under the leadership of President Trisha Mae J. Barrientos, to work hand in hand toward a safer and more progressive Panabo City.
