We extend our warmest congratulations to our President, Gea Pernites, for securing First Place in the Sining ng Kabataan: Shining Through Creativity Poster Making Contest.

The contest was held last August 31, with the awarding ceremony taking place last September 7 at Barangay New Visayas, Panabo City.

Her artwork amazingly emphasized the vital role of the youth in advancing community action for sustainable development and beyond.

This achievement stands as a reflection of LAYA’s dedication to fostering creativity, passion, and youth empowerment, bringing pride and honor not only to herself but also to the Barangay New Visayas.

The following students are scheduled for the New membership Screening of VISUAL ARTS (League of Aspiring Young Artist- LAYA) under the category of On-the-Spot Poster Making. The students are required to bring the following:

1. 17 x 20 Canvas Frame with no Cloth
2. Paint Brush and other necessary art materials

The Auditions will be held at the DNSC Sports Complex on September 8, 2025, at exactly 1 p.m.

𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 II 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐁𝐎 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
Panagtagbo 2025 held at the DNSC Sports Complex was filled with joy, creativity, and unforgettable experiences. To start, the colorful opening parade set the tone for the celebration, followed by the exciting variety show that kept the crowd entertained. Moreover, the campus was alive with music, dance, and cheers as students showcased unity and talent. Everyone came in their best outfits, which added more color and style to the celebration.

Furthermore, this year’s theme, In Sync, In Step—Grooving Through the Streets, truly captured the spirit of the event. What made it even more memorable was the surprise video greeting from Ben&Ben, which brought smiles and excitement to the crowd. In the end, Panagtagbo 2025 was not just a program but also a meaningful experience that brought the whole DNSC community closer.

The League of Young Aspiring Artists (LAYA) proudly marks a successful recruitment during the DNSC Club Fair 2025. Throughout the event, the booth became a vibrant space where creativity and passion for the arts came alive. Many students showed their interest, signed up, and shared their excitement to be part of the growing LAYA family.

With this successful recruitment, LAYA looks forward to new opportunities, collaborations, and fresh ideas from its newest members. Truly, the Club Fair 2025 was not only a chance to welcome aspiring artists but also a moment to strengthen the vision of igniting creativity and building artists at DNSC.

MA-LAYA: In Honor of our Nation's Heroes | Hindi lamang Guhit ang Paggunita sa mga Bayani ng Bansang Pilipinas

Today, August 25, 2025, we come to celebrate the people who shed their blood, sweat, and tears just so we could achieve the rights to freedom of life, equality, and expression.

Our national heroes’ faces and names are not just etched to be remembered, but serve as a reminder that it is not by status or hierarchy that we get to act for the country, but by the intention of voluntarily doing our job as Filipinos for the greater good of our country — for the future that we will mold for the next generations.

Let us, as a democratic country, showcase that we don't need to become leaders or superheroes to bring honor and dignity—we only need the heart of bravery, even as ordinary citizens, to conquer the battles just like how our national heroes faced them.

At this moment, we pause to remember a hero whose bravery and dedication to the Filipino people have left an indelible mark on our history. His ultimate sacrifice stands as a testament to his belief that the welfare of the nation is worth facing even the gravest dangers.

This day calls us to reflect on the powerful legacy of Former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino, Jr., a man who confronted oppression and fought tirelessly for democracy. His courage and determination continue to inspire Filipinos to stand strong in the face of adversity.

In honoring his memory, we acknowledge the impact of his patriotism and his courage to resolve, which serve as a reminder that the pursuit of justice and freedom is a cause greater than any one individual. His life exemplifies the true meaning of sacrifice for the common good.
