In observance of Araw ng Davao del Norte, classes at all levels and office transactions at Malativas National High School are suspended on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, pursuant to Republic Act No. 6380, which declares July 1 of every year a special non-working holiday in the Province of Davao del Norte.
Regular classes and office operations will resume on the next working day.

As we celebrate this meaningful occasion, let us honor the rich history, vibrant culture, and remarkable progress of our beloved Province of Davao del Norte. May this celebration inspire us to continue working together toward a stronger and more progressive community.

Classrooms Reopen Tomorrow Morning: Ang mga Dapat Mong Malamang Safety Prep

CRITICAL: Be Vigilant for Potential Aftershocks
Since babalik na ang klase, number one priority pa rin ang safety ng lahat. Mataas pa rin ang risk ng aftershocks, kaya dapat laging alerto at mapagmatyag sa paligid.

Mag-spot ng Safe Spots: Pagpasok na pagpasok mo sa classroom bukas, tingnan agad ang paligid. Maghanap ng matitibay na desk o lamesa na pwede mong taguan agad. Lumayo sa mga malalaking bintana, mabibigat na bookshelf, o mga nakabitin na ilaw.

Tandaan ang "Drop, Cover, and Hold On": Kapag lumindol, huwag mag-panic at huwag tatakbo palabas—mas delikado sa bagsak ng mga debris. Agad na mag-Drop (dumapa), mag-Cover (magtago sa ilalim ng matibay na lamesa), at Hold On (kumapit nang mahigpit).

Alamin ang Evacuation Routes: Makinig nang mabuti kapag nag-explain ang teachers tungkol sa emergency exit paths ng school. Alamin kung saang open space (gaya ng sports field o courtyard) dapat pumunta ang section ninyo.

The ARAL Program, which serves as the Department of Education’s (DepEd) massive umbrella initiative to kill off learning poverty, successfully boosted reading and math readiness across all participating key stages. Thanks to the dedicated teachers and tutors who kept everyone from flunking and helped secure the academic bag, Malativas NHS students are entering the next school year with maximized brainpower and zero academic anxiety.

Consider the learning gaps closed and the foundational skills completely leveled up. Period. ✨

The Malativas National High School Math-Sci Month celebration concluded with a vibrant culmination program filled with competitions, exhibits, and presentations. Students showcased their skills in math and science through various activities, highlighting creativity, teamwork, and innovation. The event not only recognized outstanding performances but also inspired greater appreciation for the importance of math and science in everyday life.

We're all incredibly grateful for your wit, wisdom, and for making sure students graduate knowing the difference between "their," "there," and "they're."
