If you’re looking for a new Starbucks drink to try, here’s my current go-to. ☕️🤎 I honestly think I’m stuck with this order for life… unless something better comes along.

Here’s exactly how I order it:

“Hi! Can I get an Iced Venti Barista Drink with 3 pumps of White Mocha, oat milk instead of regular milk, no water, made as an Americano with ristretto shots, stirred well?”

Or… you can just show your Starbucks Partner this photo. 😌

It’s genuinely life-changing.

(And yes, they’re called Starbucks Partners. “Barista” works too… but where’s the fun in that? 😂)

🦀 Would you spend ₱3,099 on a seafood bucket with LOBSTER? 🦞🔥

📍The Orange Bucket Metro Manila, Bonifacio Global City

This might just be one of the most satisfying weekend food trips we’ve had!

The best part? ❤️ I finally got to watch my partner try lobster for the very first time! He’s a very picky eater, so I honestly wasn’t sure if he’d like it—but after one bite, he was hooked! Seeing him enjoy something new made this meal even more special.

Since we’re usually in BGC on weekends, we’re so happy that O’Bucket finally opened a branch here. We’ve eaten at their Newport location before, but this one is so much more convenient for us.

Here’s what we ordered:

🦀 THE BIG BANG SEAFOOD BUCKET PREMIUM — ₱3,099
🦞 600g Lobster
🍤 400g Shrimp
🦪 400g Mussels
🦪 400g Scallops
🥔 200g Marble Potatoes
🌽 3 pcs Corn

We paired it with the Big Bang Sauce (220ml) for ₱390 at Wild spicy level. 🌶️ It has a nice kick that adds flavor without overpowering the seafood.

Additional orders:
🍚 Rice – ₱50
🥤 Soft drinks – ₱90 per can

If you’re looking for a fun, hands-on dining experience with family or friends, this is the perfect excuse to ditch the utensils and get messy! 😋

📍 O’Bucket – Bonifacio Global City

🕚 Hours

Friday–Sunday: 11:00 AM – 12:00 MN

👇 QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What’s your favorite seafood—🦞 lobster, 🍤 shrimp, 🦀 crab, or 🦪 scallops? Tell me in the comments, and tag the friend you’d bring to finish this bucket! 😍

👍 Save this for your next BGC food trip and share it with your seafood-loving friends!

📍Pepper Lunch, SM Hypermarket, Pasig City

I find myself going back to Pepper Lunch lately, mostly because it reminds me of my recent Dumaguete City trip. There’s just something about a hot, sizzling plate that instantly brings me back to those comforting post-workout meals and food stops I had there. 🤎✨

Today, I had the Salmon and Chicken Pepper Rice. Of course I ordered the salmon one because I love salmon, and fish in general, so that was the part I was looking forward to the most. 🐟🔥

The salmon serving was honestly tiny, but still good enough to satisfy the craving. They also ran out of long beans, so they doubled the sweet corn instead which I honestly didn’t mind because Pepper Lunch corn is always a win for me 😂🌽

Overall, it was still a warm, filling, and satisfying meal, just not one of my top Pepper Lunch orders. At P475 per serving, I give a 7 out of 10 for this order.

📍Healthy Appetite by Rhian Ramos, Makati City

Found another healthy food option on GrabFood and this one was a pretty good pick 🤍🥗

I ordered the Medi Wellness Grain Bowl from Healthy Appetite by Rhian Ramos for ₱325, with brown rice as my grain base. It comes with chicken shawarma, hummus, roasted eggplant, pickled cucumber, vegetables, and 4-inch flour tortillas, so it’s one of those bowls that feels both filling and well-balanced.

What I liked most was how flavorful it still was despite being very much in that clean, wellness-meal lane. The shawarma and hummus gave it a nice savory richness, while the pickled cucumber helped keep everything fresh and balanced.

Overall, I’d give this an 8.5 out of 10, a solid healthy meal option if you’re craving something nourishing, satisfying, and convenient without feeling too heavy.

📍Body Fit PH by JustKitchen PH, Makati City

Lately I’ve been loving meals that actually help me hit my protein goals without feeling like I’m eating “diet food” 🍱💪🏻✨

Their Healthy Salmon Bento (₱490) is one of my go-to post-workout orders and an easy 10/10 every single time. It comes with brown rice, balanced sides, and generously sized salmon slices that make it feel like a proper high-protein meal, not just a “healthy” lunch. Since they show the measurements on the app, it’s also easier to stay mindful of portions, calories, and macros. Macros for this one came to 47g carbs, 29g protein, and 29g fat — around 561 kcal total. Definitely one of those balanced, filling meals that still helps me stay on track.

I also ordered the Yangnyeom Chicken Bento (₱325), which comes with yangnyeom chicken, brown rice, and blanched vegetables. This one is listed at 57g carbs, 26g protein, and 31g fat for 610 kcal, and I’d rate it 8/10. It’s still a solid option when I want something flavorful and satisfying while keeping that meal prep / macro-friendly energy going.

I’ve ordered from them so many times already, and they’ve always been consistent with quality. Definitely one of my favorite GrabFood spots when I want something convenient, balanced, and supportive of my post-workout meals and protein goals 🤍

📍Pepper Lunch, Lifestyle District, Dumaguete City

I found myself back at Pepper Lunch during my recent Dumaguete City trip, and this time I went for a more indulgent post-workout meal—something hearty, satisfying, and perfect for my carbo loading. 🔥💪🏻

I ordered the Pepper Steak (P745) from their Premium Steaks selection, served with rice and mashed potatoes. It was rich, flavorful, and filling—the kind of comforting plate that really hits the spot after a workout. The beef was tender, well-seasoned, and even more enjoyable on Pepper Lunch’s signature sizzling teppan. I will rate this an 8 out of 10. 👌🏻

I also tried the Teriyaki Beef Pepper Rice with Egg (P365), a warm and comforting mix of beef, rice, corn, and egg finished with a sweet-savory teriyaki flavor. Once mixed on the hot plate, it turns into a satisfying and flavorful meal with a creamy texture from the egg. I will rate this a 7 out of 10. 🤤

Overall, this was another satisfying Pepper Lunch visit for me—hearty, flavorful, and perfect for a post-workout refuel ✨💅🏻

I’m loving Starbucks’ new venti cups for iced drinks 😍🤤 They’re slimmer, sturdier, and honestly just look so much better. Even the sip-hole cover stays in place when opened, which I really appreciate 👌🏻

Super practical too, especially for car cup holders—more so when the cup holders are too close together.

📍Hayahay Treehouse Bar & Viewdeck, Dumaguete City

My Dumaguete City trips honestly don’t feel complete without a stop at Hayahay Treehouse Bar & Viewdeck 🤎🌴

It’s one of the most well-known party places in Dumaguete City, but for me, it’s also one of those comfort food stops I keep coming back to whenever I’m in town. Hayahay is part bar, part seafood restaurant, and every visit somehow turns into a full feast 😅

And if there’s one thing I can never skip here, it’s their baked talaba / baked oysters 🦪😭

I’ve been ordering this for years, and while I still enjoy it, I have to be honest that the quality isn’t quite the same as how I remember it from before. Still good, still worth ordering, but not as memorable as it used to be for me.

Here’s what we had during this visit:

🦀 Chili Garlic Crab – ₱1,425 for 750 grams
10/10. Totally worth it for me. This was easily one of the highlights of the meal—flavorful, satisfying, and the kind of seafood dish that makes you want to keep going back for more.

🦪 Baked Talaba / Baked Oysters – ₱225 per serving
7/10. Still one of my Hayahay staples and still good for sharing, but I personally feel like the quality has changed compared to years ago. Still part of my Dumaguete ritual though 😅

🔥 Dumaguete Express – ₱375
10/10. This is a must-eat for me whenever I’m here because it’s such a unique dish. It’s one of those plates that feels very rich, loaded, and unapologetically flavorful—may sinugba, kinilaw, malunggay, squid, crispy pork, and a whole lot of goodness all in one. It’s messy in the best way, packed with different textures and flavors, and definitely one of those dishes you have to try at least once when dining here.

🍗 Lechon Native Chicken – ₱450
8/10. A solid order if you want something classic and familiar on the table alongside the seafood.

🥭 Mango Shake – ₱135
7/10. Good and refreshing, especially with all the rich and savory food, but not necessarily the standout item of the meal for me.

Hayahay is still one of those Dumaguete spots I keep coming back to—not just because of the food, but because it has become part of my Dumaguete routine at this point. And even with some dishes changing over the years, there are still items here that I’d happily return for again and again.

I also made a full vlog of this meal, so watch out for that if you want to see how I absolutely devoured everything in these photos and more 😭🍴

📍Pepper Lunch, Lifestyle District, Dumaguete City

One of my post-workout meals during my recent Dumaguete City trip was this Beef Aglio Olio from Pepper Lunch, and I honestly enjoyed it more than I expected 🤎🔥

There’s just something so satisfying about a hot, sizzling plate after a workout, and this one really hit the spot for me. The pasta was nicely al dente, the beef slices were tender, and I liked how the chili gave it a little kick without being too overwhelming. It’s simple, savory, filling, and the kind of meal I’d gladly have again after a long day or a good workout.

If you’re eating at Pepper Lunch for the first time, don’t forget that even if the food is already precooked, you still have to mix it and let it finish cooking on the hot plate while it’s still hot. That’s part of the experience, and honestly part of what makes it so enjoyable too 😋

At ₱355 per serving, I’d say it was a pretty decent and satisfying meal overall.
My rating: 7.5/10 ⭐

Definitely one of those Dumaguete food stops that made my recent trip even better ✨

Adamo Dumaguete Main Branch
📍Tindalo St., Dumaguete City

My quick visits to Dumaguete City never feel complete without Adamo’s Shrimp and Mango Salad. It has easily become one of my must-have dishes whenever I’m in town.

I actually debated whether to pair it with another favorite, the Prawn Pasta, since some of the main ingredients overlap. In the end, I gave in because both dishes are simply too good to pass up.

If you ever find yourself visiting Dumaguete City or Siquijor Island, make sure to stop by Adamo and treat yourself to a great meal. And while you’re there, don’t skip the Fresh Mango Shake. It was so refreshing and delicious that I ended up ordering a second one just for myself.

Definitely one of my favorite dining spots in the area. I’ve been a loyal patron since they first opened their doors, and they continue to be one of my go-to places whenever I’m in town.
