Tax Analyst (Philippines-based Freelancers)

About the Role:
As a Tax Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in preparing US-based tax documents while ensuring client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include processing tax documents, preparing accurate returns, and collaborating with the team to deliver excellent results.
What You'll Do:
📂 Tax Preparation: Process and upload tax documents, prepare returns for forms such as 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990 series, and 1023.
📋 Client Collaboration: Communicate with clients to request missing information or escalate completed tax returns to the Tax Manager for review.
📤 Timely Responses: Respond to client messages within 24 hours to maintain strong relationships.
📆 Extensions and Estimates: Prepare tax extensions and calculate estimated taxes.
📌 Ad Hoc Projects: Take on additional projects as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table:
🎓 A college degree or equivalent education.
💻 Strong computer skills, tech-savviness, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
📈 Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably with a public accounting firm.
🧾 Proficient knowledge of US tax principles, including the Internal Revenue Code and business entity structuring (especially S Corporations).
📖 Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
🌟 A professional, reliable work ethic and ability to handle deadlines under pressure.
