I’m forever grateful that M got to meet her great-grandma before she passed. M was only 3, and grandma was a beautiful 97. Moments like these are treasures we hold for life. ❤️

I will always miss Dubai. Last night, I dreamt of being in the metro again — it felt like home for a moment. Those memories still stay with me. Someday, I hope I can travel back with my little family and show them the place that shaped me.

I do regret not taking more photos back then, but the experiences are forever in my heart. I worked in Dubai for almost 4 years… ah, life and its beautiful chapters. ✨

This video was taken last year when M was just 2 years old. This is our real morning—raw, unfiltered, and beautifully chaotic. Hair still messy, me preparing breakfast, and M already asking for her favorite native cake (biko) and chocolate drink. Life with a toddler means you can’t do everything at once, and that’s okay. She’s growing to be so independent, and I’m learning to embrace the imperfect moments.

So don’t compare your life with what you see on social media. Real life isn’t perfect—just genuine, just ours. 🤎

I didn’t expect it would be such a long wait at the clinic today. I didn’t bring extra clothes for M, just one bottle of milk and one diaper—because with our usual pedia, waiting time is only 30 minutes tops. But here… we waited almost 4 hours before our turn. 😅

It was our first time in that clinic, and of course, M already pooped, took a nap, and still… we weren’t called yet. My husband even had to run to the nearest shop to buy her new clothes. 😂 What a day! We were all hungry when we finally got out.

Lesson learned: always expect the unexpected when you’re a parent. 🤍

That’s my husband. We usually go to the salon together for our haircuts — our little routine that keeps us connected. It’s simple, but it’s ours. We love doing things side by side, and maybe that’s one of the reasons our marriage works. ❤️
