Reinforcing its commitment to education and community empowerment, Cebu Pacific (CEB), alongside its group network including 1Aviation and Aplus, mobilized its volunteers for the nationwide kickoff of Brigada Eskwela 2026 to prepare public schools for the upcoming academic year.
As part of this year's campaign under the broader Gokongwei Group's "Juan Community" program, the leading carrier adopted three geographically isolated "Last Mile Schools" from the Department of Education's priority list: Balakilong Integrated School in Batangas, Cadulawan Elementary School in Cebu, and Cogon Elementary School in Davao del Norte.
Beyond providing hands-on volunteer support, the airline donated classroom cleaning and painting supplies, STEM educational packages, and employee-raised monetary contributions to ensure critical aid reaches these underserved communities. Emphasizing that the true measure of an airline is how many lives it helps move forward, CEB Chief Human Resources Officer Felix Lopez highlighted the company's pride in connecting Filipinos through lasting acts of service, with the airline planning to sustain support for these schools while expanding the program to more remote areas across its domestic and international network.
