LOVING THE CHURCH

How can we show our concern for the Church in today's world? Let me offer two suggestions. Let us share what we can truly share for the coffers of the Church. Sometimes we are so meager in giving something for the offertory thinking that the Church is already rich. No. The Church only has what you entrust her in the form of offerings or donations.

Second, let us takecar of each other as baptized by avoiding smearing each other in social media. Let us practice Jesus' prescriptions when incomes to correction an erring brother: one on one and face to face. This is the best way to correct and win a brother back.

TEMPLES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

St. Paul in the second tells us that we are the temples of the Holy Spirit. As temples of the Holy Spirit, we constitute the Church. We, as the people of God and temples of the Holy Spirit, are the Church.

As temples of the Holy Spirit, may we allow the fruits of the Holy Spirit dwell within us and radiate outwardly in our dealings with others. Let our life be marked with wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. Let these gifts wash away anger, jealousy, malice and the like, that rapture our relationship with God and neighbor.

We are temples of the Holy Spirit. Let us live as such.
