Daghang Salamat Blood Donors, sa makausab nahimo nasab atong Barangay ug awardee sa SANDUGO AWARD. Dili basta-basta kay consistent super achiever jud atong makab-ot. Dili sab kini posible kung wala ta gabayi, ug gitabangan sa atong mga Barangay Officials nga gipanguluhan sa atong Inahan sa Barangay New Albay, Kap Tess Gran kauban ang atong kagawad on Health nga si Gemma DM . Dako akong pasalamat sa mga Barangay Health Workers ug BNS nga daku kaayo ug papel sa pagkab-ot ani nga award.

Ako, kauban atong Midwife Joan Olayta , mapasalamaton kanunay sa Ginoo, sa mga katawhan sa New Albay, sa MBD Team nga gipanguluhan ni Maam Mary Sol Infante Caballero .

‼️ HOW IMPORTANT FOLIC ACID SUPPLEMENT ‼️

If you’re trying to get pregnant ,

Don't forget to take your folic acid supplements during your trying period.

If you're pregnant already, its important to take always take your folic acid

Folic acid helps reduce the risk of having a baby with spina bifida or other problems affecting the baby's spine and neural tube.

In the Photo below :
Baby's spine did not form as it was supposed to. It's open.
The spinal cord is exposed. ( Rachischisis )

Babies with this problem usually are born without a brain.

They also have problems with movement, infections and are unable to control their bladder ( they cant control when and where they p*e)

If you're carrying a baby with this problem, pregnancy is likely to end in a miscarriage or stillbirth. Babies who happen to be born usually go to heaven within a few hours to days after birth.

This defect will be seen on an ultrasound during screening. You might be advised to terminate pregnancy if detected.

So are you taking your folic acid supplements?

If not, its about time you started doing so.

Please Don't skip your ultrasounds during pregnancy.

Its very important.
