Kung gusto natin ng maayos na araw-araw na byahe huwag nating gawin katatawanan ang batas na umiiral sa kalsada dahil ang pagkakaroon driver's license para makapag maneho ay isang prebiliheyo na dapat sumunod sa batas trapiko.
Ang prebeliheyo para tayo ay makagamit ng lansangan at magkaroon ng maayos na trabaho.
Ang ganitong aksyon ay katawa tawa sa iba pero ito ay sadyang pagwalang galang sa batas trapiko.

In line with the instruction of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. to run after “kamote” riders, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), under the guidance of Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon, preventively suspended for 90 days the driver’s license driver who covered his license plate to skirt violation through No-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).
LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II said the registered owner of is a resident of San Juan City and the brazen violation was caught on now viral Facebook post.
“Maliwanag na isa itong pambabastos sa batas. Gaya ng sinabi ng ating DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon, hindi na papayag ang pamahalaan sa mga motoristang katulad nito,” said Asec Mendoza.
“We already issued a show cause order against the registered owner of this motorcycle wherein we also informed him that his driver’s license is suspended for 90 days,” he added.
Part of the investigation, according to Asec Mendoza, is to determine if the registered owner was indeed the one who covered the license plate.
The incident was monitored by LTO social media monitoring team wherein a viral Facebook video showed covering the last three letters of the plate by a packaging tape to obstruct the visibility.
The Facebook post, captioned "NCAP? No problem, magaya nga," features a motorcycle with a back rider wearing a Move It helmet.
In the SCO signed by LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division chief Renante Melitante, it ordered the registered owner to appear before the LTO Central Office and submit a written explanation on why he should not be penalized.
The registered owner is facing cases of violation of Section 18 Para. 2 of R.A. 4136 (Use of number plates) and for being an improper person to operate a motor vehicle.
“Further, you are directed to bring the Official Receipt (OR) and Certificate of Registration (CR) of the subject motorcycle including your record as the official rider of the Move It Company,” the SCO read.
“Thus, it is also directed that his driver's license be surrendered immediately on or before the scheduled hearing to reckon the said suspension,” it added.
The SCO also placed the motorcycle under alarm to prevent any and all transactions while under investigation.
Asec Mendoza reminded motorists that such modus is illegal and will be penalized.
He also urged the public, particularly netizens, to report similar violations to the LTO for immediate action. #
