The English Test Gets You In. Reading Helps You Thrive.

These are my go-to books for building a better mindset. 📚✨

You don’t have to finish a whole book in one sitting. Start with 5 minutes a day or 5 pages a day. Do what you can and focus on building the habit.

You’ll be surprised how reading consistently can change your perspective, expand your vocabulary, improve how you express yourself, and help you become a better version of yourself.

And if you’re planning to move to an English-speaking country, reading can really help. Passing an English test may be a requirement to enter the country, but becoming comfortable, fluent and articulate in everyday English takes continuous practice.

The test gets you in. Practice helps you communicate once you’re there. 🇬🇧📖

Start small. Read a few pages today. Your future self will thank you. 🤍

Things I did before my birthday 🎂✨

🍕 Tried the pizza at Forest Farm
🐮 Took a photo with a Highland cow
🏋️‍♀️ Continued showing up for my workouts
💊 Collected my prescription
🩸 Had my blood test with the GP
☕️ Had coffee by myself — always my favourite “ME time” and a newly discovered coffee spot
🍔 Tried the newly opened burger shop, Chilo’s
💇🏻‍♀️ Got a haircut — because this is literally the only barber I go to 😂
🧴 Finally bought the skincare I’ve been reviewing for months
🦷 Had my teeth cleaned — and yes, I changed dental practices because why stay somewhere you’re not happy with? 😌

Yes, as I get older, these are the things that matter to me. 🤍

Making time for myself is a must.
Calling my family back home.
Spend quality time together
Taking care of my health.
Moving my body.
Enjoying good food and little adventures.
And choosing what makes me happy.

I’m choosing mobility, muscle strength and better lifestyle choices over fad diets and unhealthy habits that aren’t sustainable. I don’t want quick fixes anymore — I want habits I can actually maintain and a body that will carry me well for years to come. 💪🏼✨

Because I’ve learned that health is wealth, peace is priceless, and the little moments are actually the big moments. 🤍

From Experience

This is heartbreaking. 💔

I’ve been away from home for 9 years, and I’ll admit—I was once part of the hustle culture too. I worked 7 days a week just to make ends meet.

At the time, I thought I was being strong. I thought I just had to keep going.

But eventually, your body keeps the score.

The constant stress, lack of sleep, unhealthy eating, and neglecting yourself can slowly catch up with you. In my case, I’m now dealing with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

Hustle is good. Working hard is admirable. But rest is important too.

If you’re young and grinding every single day, surviving on less than 6 hours of sleep, please remember that your body has limits too.

You can always work harder later—but you can’t always undo what chronic stress and neglect have done to your health.

Make money, chase your dreams, support your family… but don’t lose yourself in the process. ❤️

Your health is not something you can hustle back once it’s gone. to
