From 9:00 am to 10:30 am, parents or guardians personally received their children's report card, while teachers discussed their children's academic performance and behavior inside the school.

We see science in the glowing stars at night, in the gadgets we use daily, and even in the simple act of breathing, Science Month is more than just a practice, it is a reminder that the future belongs to those who dare to search, question, and create.

YES-O, Sci-Trance club holds Science Month Opening Program

NEWS | PARAÑAQUE CITY, Metro Manila — Moonwalk National High School (MwNHS) YES-O organization in collaboration with Sci-Trance club conducted a School-based Science Month Celebration Opening Program; with the theme "Siyensiya, Teknolohiya, Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Kinabukasan"; pursuant to the DepEd Memorandum No. 486 which addresses the 2025 National Science Club Month, on September 2, 2025 at the SHS ground floor, that aims to highlight the role of Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) in driving development.

The program kicked off with a prayer and the national anthem. Subsequently, the Masters of Ceremony Mr. Jon Marcus Quinto, YES-O Public Information Officer (PIO), and Ms. Charliene Caporado, YES-O President, altogether hosted the program as they called on Mr. Lio Guevarra, Master Teacher II and Asst. to the Principal, to deliver the opening remarks.

Afterwards, Mr. Dennis Roy P. Castor, YES-O Adviser of Senior High School (SHS), gave the objectives. Next, the rationale was conveyed by the Sci-Trance Adviser, Mr. John Charles Llemos.

The YES-O Adviser of Junior High School (JHS) Ms. Jenipher Corado announced the Matrix of Activities for the celebration of Science Month. The following activities include: Traditional Poster-Making Contest, Digital Infographics-Making Contest, YES-O Spotlight (Bulletin Board)/Eco Photography, Quiz Bee Elimination Round, Quiz Bee Final Round, Science Exhibition Showcase, YES-O Short film Production, and Closing Program and Awarding.

Further details and informations were posted on the walls of every classrooms.

For an energy boost and audience engagement, the band "Imprevu" and YES-O officers along with Sci-Trance officers performed an intermission number.

To conclude the event, HT V/ Science Department Head Ms. Cristy Adriano proclaimed the closing remarks.
