Yesterday, June 1, marked the beginning of Pride Month โ an event observed every year to commemorate the 1969 uprising in New York City, which served a major catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ civil rights movement. Whether you are q***r or confused, out of the closet and proud or still not yet ready to accept who you are, you deserve to be celebrated. The truth doesn't need to be hidden, your differences don't need to be changed, and acceptance begins with an open mind and an open heart. Together, let's foster an environment especially in schools wherein children can express themselves freely, without prejudices or judgment. ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
