MwNHS Holds First PTC for S.Y. 2025-2026

Moonwalk National High School (MwNHS) successfully conducted its first Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) for the school year 2025–2026 on July 10, 2025.

The meeting was held in each classroom, with the morning shift from 9:50 to 10:50 AM, and the afternoon shift from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The primary objective of the conference was to foster communication between parents and teachers, focusing on student conduct. Discussions addressed minor and major offenses, aiming to improve school discipline and awareness.

In addition to behavior-related matters, the conference included the election of HPTA and SPTA officers, showcasing MwNHS’s dedication to promoting student leadership and ensuring active parent participation in school governance.

The PTC concluded with a mutual commitment from parents and teachers to collaborate in encouraging responsible behavior among students and supporting their personal growth.

𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐁 𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓

Under the theme “𝙎𝙖 𝙋𝙋𝘼𝙉 (𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣): 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙇𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙩”. Multiple students from Grades 7 to 12 participated in the school-wide poster making competition under the T.L.E subject on July 11 and 14, 2025, at the school grounds, grade 8, 9, and 11 competed on July 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., while Grade 7, 10, and 12 took their turn on July 14 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Participants can choose between two categories: digital artists brought their own tools and mobile internet connection, while traditional artists brought a 1/8 illustration board and coloring supplies.

The poster making competition encourages the blending of both traditional and modern techniques while fostering students' artistic expression and inventiveness. It also fosters self-confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills, which are essential to overall development.

Students will not only hone their artistic abilities through this event, but they will also cultivate a spirit of healthy competition and pride in their work.

𝐌𝐂𝐆𝐈, 𝐒𝐊 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

In a meaningful initiative aimed at promoting health and preparedness among the youth, the Members Church of God International (MCGI), in partnership with SK Moonwalk, conducted a Youth Medical Kit Turnover Program at Moonwalk National High School (MwNHS).

The event gathered class presidents and vice presidents from each section, who received medical kits on behalf of their respective classes. The turnover ceremony was hosted by Grade 12 students, Jon Marcus Quinto and Stephanie Baculinao, ensuring a smooth flow of the program.

SK Chairwoman delivered a heartfelt message of appreciation, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between civic organizations and the school community. Meanwhile, SSLG President KingDeo Sandoval expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the student body, recognizing the significance of the donation in promoting student welfare.

Looking forward, organizers expressed interest in expanding the program to include basic first-aid training alongside kit distribution. This move aims to empower student leaders to take on more active roles in community service and emergency response.

The initiative marks a promising step toward equipping young leaders not only with tools but with knowledge, making them valuable advocates for health and safety in their school and community

Students, teachers, and staff gathered at MwNHS's school ground for the First Mass of this school year Presided over by 𝐅𝐫. 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚. 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐬, 𝐎𝐅𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯., he emphasized a message of 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲 and 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 for the school and students

With the homily ending, Fr. Vargas urged students to embody 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬—mirroring Jesus’s actions in welcoming “sinners” to the table—encapsulating the Mass’s central theme: mercy precedes merit.
