Generating contour lines from drone mapping involves capturing high-resolution aerial imagery and processing it to create detailed elevation maps. Here's a general overview of the process:

1. Data Collection: Drones equipped with sensors (such as LiDAR or RGB cameras) capture images and elevation data of the terrain.

2. Data Processing: The collected data is processed using specialized software to create a Digital Elevation Model (DEM). This model represents the terrain's surface as a 3D grid of elevation points.

3. Contour Line Generation: The software generates contour lines by connecting points of equal elevation on the DEM. The interval between contour lines (contour interval) is chosen based on the desired level of detail.

4. Smoothing and Interpolation: The contour lines are often smoothed and interpolated to create a more visually appealing and accurate representation of the terrain.
