After rumors of visa issues for the team, Riot Games has confirmed that the Philippines' Bren Esports will be missing VALORANT Masters Berlin.

Riot stated in an official tweet that they "were unable to secure the necessary travel visas" for the roster, which qualified for the event as Southeast Asia's #1 seed.

Riot also added that they "explored multiple avenues to find a solution, including engaging with relevant governmental agencies in the Philippines and Germany".

Due to Bren Esports missing the event, VALORANT Masters Berlin will be converted to a 15 team tournament. Group D, the bracket in which Bren was initially placed, will be changed to a double round-robin between the three remaining teams.

Bren Esports will net 175 VCT points and the associated prize for qualifying for the event.
