“I’m very happy to continue here for several more years. This is a dream come true.

There was a moment when I decided that the best thing for me was to leave, to get regular minutes, then return stronger — and I believe that’s exactly what happened.

It’s easy to say it now, but I think it was the right step, and I’m happy to stay here for additional years.

My goals? To keep developing. In the end, I’m 24 years old.

I think there are many things that need improvement on an individual level.

Then on a collective level, I think we have a very young group, with great room for improvement, but we are already doing very important things, and I believe we have years of success ahead of us.

I try to adapt to any position I’m asked to play in.

We have a team with very high quality, excellent players, and in the end I try to give the best I can.

From the beginning I said that I know my abilities. And in the end, in life there are good moments, and moments when things don’t go the way one wants.

But I’m happy to be where I am now, happy to renew my contract, happy with how things are going with the team, and of course on an individual level I am happy too.

At first with Hansi, I faced physical problems and couldn’t take part in pre-season, but as the season went on, he trusted me more and more, and in different positions.

You go through moments when you won’t play, and moments when you’ll play more. But now I’m enjoying this greater continuity, and honestly I’m very grateful to Hansi for the trust he has given me.”
