πππ©πππ¦πππ« ππ, ππππ - A traffic altercation in ParaΓ±aque City escalated into a stabbing incident on Thursday morning, leaving a traffic enforcer wounded and a 65-year-old jeepney driver under arrest by member of PNP Aviation Security Group assigned at AVSEU-NCR Cargo Police Station.
The confrontation unfolded in front of ParaΓ±aque National High SchoolβMain along Dr. A. Santos Avenue, Barangay San Dionisio, when a traffic enforcer flagged down a passenger jeep for loading and unloading in a restricted area.
Instead of complying, the driver allegedly attempted to run over the enforcer. Moments later, he stepped out of his vehicle with a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim once in his left abdomen.
While en route to his duty station at the Cargo Police Station, Pat Kris Harvey Salvador Agpaoa noticed the attack and immediately took control of the situation. Acting decisively, he disarmed the assailant, confiscated the weapon and placed the suspect under arrest before more harm could unfold.
Recovered from the suspect was one (1) kitchen knife measuring approximately eight inches, including the handle.
The victim is now receiving medical treatment at Ospital ng ParaΓ±aque I, where he remains under medical observation and for possible confinement, according to his attending physician.
Inquest proceedings for Frustrated Homicide are now underway against the suspect, currently under the custody of ParaΓ±aque City Police Station.
