✈️ From MNL to AKL and a new chapter begins 🇵🇭➡️🇳🇿

After years in Manila, our family finally made the journey from Manila (MNL) to Auckland (AKL) — our new home in New Zealand Aotearoa. 🇳🇿❤️

From our last look around the airport in Manila to flying over the stunning New Zealand coastline and spotting AKL from the sky then touching down it still feels a little surreal.

And of course being aviation people the first thing I noticed after landing was the aircraft! 😍✈️
Air Tahiti Nui, Air New Zealand and Emirates waiting on the apron was a pretty good welcome to AKL.

The beautiful Māori welcome at Auckland Airport, “Nau mai, haere mai” Welcome! felt especially fitting for the beginning of this new chapter.

12 years in the Philippines. A new adventure in New Zealand. 🇵🇭❤️🇳🇿

Here’s to new beginnings, new memories, and plenty of planes along the way. ✈️

RP-C3512, seen here decelerating after completing her delivery flight from Airbus’ factory in Toulouse, France.

Soon, if all goes according to plan, she won’t be the youngest member of the growing family, as her sister ship, RP-C3513, is being prepared for delivery to the airline. ;)
