BIG WIN TO CELEBRATE TODAY!

To God be all the glory! 🙏

I received a message from one of my previous students today, and honestly, it made my heart so happy.

He landed his first VA client! 🎉🥹

I know how rough the journey was for him. It wasn't an overnight success. There were challenges, applications, and moments when it would have been so easy to question whether this VA journey was really going to work out.

But he kept going.

He kept learning.
He kept applying.
And little by little, he built the competency and confidence he needed to finally say:

"I landed a client." ❤️

As a coach, these are the messages that remind me why I do what I do. Seeing a student start with doubts and eventually reach that breakthrough is something I will always be grateful for.

Another dream begins today. Welcome to the VA Breakthrough Bootcamp, J! ✨️

Today, I had the privilege of welcoming a new student who's also a first-year law student.

Some people might think these are two completely different career paths—and they are. But here's what I believe: dreams don't have to compete with each other.

Wanting to become a Virtual Assistant while pursuing a career in law doesn't make either dream less valid. One can help support the other. One can create opportunities while you're working toward the other.

Life doesn't always require you to choose between two passions. Sometimes, with the right mindset, discipline, and determination, you can pursue both.

So if you've been holding yourself back because you think your dreams don't "match," let this be your reminder: you don't have to shrink one dream just to make room for another.

Build the career you need today while continuing to chase the career you want tomorrow. Both journeys are worth taking. 💪✨

Another successful client and VA match! 🙌

Moments like this never get old. Seeing the right VA connect with the right client reminds me why I love what I do.

One thing that really stood out to me during the whole process is this:

Treat every discovery call like it's your first.

No matter how many interviews you've had, always prepare. Don't assume. Don't get too comfortable. And most importantly, don't overpitch.

The best candidates aren't always the ones who talk the most. They're the ones who listen, connect, and clearly show how they can help solve a problem.

Every discovery call is a new opportunity. A new client. A new conversation.

Approach it with curiosity, preparation, and confidence.

One thing I wish more VAs talked about...

It's not just about landing clients.
It's not just about increasing your rates.
It's not just about earning more money.

It's about what happens to that money years from now.

I've seen people earn well but still struggle later in life because they never learned how to protect, grow, and prepare their finances for the future.

One day, we'll all get older.

The question is: what kind of future are you building today?

Do you want to be the person relying on family members to cover your expenses and medication?

Or do you want to be the one calling your kids, nieces, nephews, or loved ones and saying:

"Are you all free next month? Let's go to Boracay. My treat." ✈️🏝️

There is nothing wrong with working hard for your money.

But make sure your money is working hard for you too.

Your future self is depending on the decisions you make today. 💛
