Just another day on SLEX. Sharing this for awareness—lane markings like double solid yellow lines are there for a reason, and crossing them is still a violation even if traffic flow feels slow.

This was taken at SLEX northbound, near the C5 exit. Compared to Skyway, where rules are more actively enforced in areas like the Quezon Ave exit, this stretch seems to have less monitoring, so behaviors like this happen more often.

It’s become common to see this almost every day, with many drivers doing it, and it starts to feel normal. But even if it’s common, it still doesn’t make sense to ignore lane discipline.

In this case, the Wigo ahead was moving slower than expected, even if it was in the right lane. That said, I’ve also noticed a lot of cars and trucks in this area driving below the speed limit, which may be contributing to situations like this. It feels like a deeper issue that could benefit from better traffic flow management and enforcement.

Road discipline keeps traffic predictable and safer for everyone.

Uptown Parade, BGC to BF Homes via C5 Link: A 45 Minute Drive 🚗✨

A 45-minute drive from Uptown Parade, Bonifacio Global City to BF Homes, Parañaque using the newly opened C5 Link segment. It connects Taguig directly to Parañaque, and it’s toll-free until the end of April 2026.

Took this route just to try it out instead of the usual SLEX drive. Wasn’t in a rush, but travel time still ended up quick. This route cuts the gap down to around 10 minutes from BGC to Parañaque. New record.
