There is a strong argument that skinny jeans simply look stupid.

By wrapping tightly around the legs from hip to ankle, they throw off the body's natural proportions. They can make the upper body appear larger, the feet look oversized, and the overall silhouette feel awkward rather than balanced. Instead of complementing the body, they often exaggerate its least flattering angles.
