SKIMBOARD COMPETITION 2024
Event Details, Guidelines, and Important Reminders:
Date: May 12, 2024
Location/Assembly Area: Ranchero Y Marinero Resort , balogo, pasacao
Objective: To introduce and promote skimboarding as a recreational activity and to provide a platform for skilled enthusiasts to showcase their talent.
Participants: Pasaqueรฑos and Bicolanos.
Activities:
1. Beach Side Clean-up: 5:30AM to 7:00AM
Pasacao Youths are highly encouraged to join and everyone is requested to bring their own garbage bag.
2. Skim Clinic: 8:00AM - 12:00NN
Orientation, Skimboarding demonstrations, and workshops.
3. Skim Competition Proper: 4:30PM onwards

Skim Competition Guidelines:
1. The competition is open for ages 13 and above. All qualified participants must complete a waiver form. Participants below 18 years old are required to submit parental consent.
2. The competition shall have 2 categories:
โญ๏ธBeginners Category:
a. Only individuals residing within Pasacao are eligible to register for this category.
b. Skill Level: This category is specifically designed for novice skimboarders who are new to the sport or have limited experience.
โญ๏ธPro Category:
a. Both local residents and individuals from outside the municipality of Pasacao are welcome to register for this category.
b. Skill Level: Skimboarding skills, such as using ramps and performing tricks, are necessary for this category.
3. Each participant must accomplish a pre-registration form found on this link https://forms.gle/BvJrJAD9X3wXXBGc7. Registration is open from April 15, 2024 to May 10, 2024 ONLY. Registration Fee:
Beginners Category: Php 50.00
Pro Category: Php 100.00

4. Participants must prioritize safety at all times during the competition and must follow instructions from event staff and organizers.
5. All participants registered for the competition are required to join the Beach Clean-Up activity. This is to demonstrate our commitment to environmental care and awareness.
6. Participants are encouraged to bring their own skimboard during the competition. Alternatively, they may use the skimboards provided by the organizers.

7. Fair Play. Respect fellow competitors and adhere to the rules and guidelines set forth by the organizers. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
8. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow skimboarders and enthusiasts.
