Dahil sa sobrang init ng panahon, napalitan na rin namin ng split type aircon 😅
Kayo, kinakaya pa ba yung init?
Kaso nga lang… kapalit nito mas mataas na naman ang Meralco Bill 💸

Over 200 trees some estimated to be more than 50 years old were cut down along Quirino Highway to give way for the Southern Access Link Expressway (SALEX) project. For many residents, these weren’t just trees. They were part of the community’s shade, air quality, identity, and everyday landscape for decades.
--
Meanwhile in Japan, similar infrastructure challenges are often approached differently. Instead of automatically removing mature trees, many are carefully relocated through specialized engineering methods — roots are prepared and secured, trees are lifted by cranes, transported, and replanted in new areas where they can continue to grow.
--
Two countries. Two approaches to development.
One sees old trees as obstacles to clear for faster construction.
The other sees them as living assets worth preserving, even during progress.
Development is necessary. Roads, transport systems, and urban expansion are important. But good design and planning should also ask:
Can progress coexist with preservation?
Can convenience be achieved without permanently erasing decades of natural growth?
--
A 50-year-old tree cannot be replaced by simply planting a new sapling. It takes generations to restore what can disappear in a single day.
True progress is not just about building faster it’s about building responsibly. 🌱

🚨 BUILDING COLLAPSE | Angeles City, Pampanga | May 24, 2026

A 9-story building under construction along Teodoro Street, Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City collapsed before dawn on Sunday. Around 30 to 40 construction workers ang na-trap sa loob. Rescue operations are still ongoing as of this writing. Prayers for everyone affected. 🙏

Investigation is still ongoing❗️Lets wait for the whole story ❗️📍

Base on the building permit Structural plans were done by an Architect. But currently checking/ verification at City Hall is ongoing.

For those who are looking for the source you can check the Building Permit at google maps 👉https://maps.app.goo.gl/6AMcgs91HLJg7ypE6
--
You can also verify the license at prc at verification.prc.gov.ph
--
Take Note: this is printed buiding permit only. May news na typo daw and maraming rin factors ang pwede mag cause ng collapse, and eto pa lang yung actual data na nakita ko. For now let's wait for the whole story

This tragedy is heartbreaking but it also raises a very important question that we can no longer ignore.

Your budget cuts cost lives.
Your wrong signature costs lives.
Respect the profession.
Respect the license.

To clients, stop lowballing professionals. Ang murang presyo ay hindi savings. It's a risk, and other people pay for it with their lives.

To professionals, stay in your scope. Your license defines your boundary for a reason. Huwag pumirma ng hindi sa iyong larangan.

⚠️ Investigations are still ongoing. We await the official findings.
But the lesson is already in front of us.
Hire right. Pay right. Sign right.

This beautiful dress reminds me so much of the elegance and romance of Bridgerton Series 😁. Soft silhouettes, intricate details, and timeless classical inspiration. ✨

This iconic 1992 ‘Palladio’ gown by Gianfranco Ferré for Dior is one of the clearest examples of architecture translated into fashion.

Ferré, who originally trained as an architect, designed the dress almost like a wearable classical column from the flowing pleated silhouette to the sculptural neckline inspired by the volutes of the Ionic order.

As an architect, I love seeing how architectural language can go beyond buildings and become art you can wear. 🤍
